daveyb
Great Job AAI !!!! :happy feet: AAI (Soon to be FRA for Flat Rock Assembly) is where it's at! If you voted no that's cool. People have choices. People often make choices that are less than well thought out. Like voting Republican or listening to Ricky Martin. But it's the choice that makes America America. Bless you all for voting, whatever your vote was. YOU DA MAN, OR WOMAN! (only you know for sure, but whatever, thanks for voting!!!! :D

deflep1
Great job AAI! Thats how you show those anti union bastards how its done. Down goes the dividers. We had a 91% voter turn out (72% approval), I hope that sends a message to Ford that we REALLY want the Fusion! The biggest locals are still to come and many are not happy, this could go either way. I hope our 72% approval shows people you don't have to like everything in the contract to still vote YES for it. JOBS and PRODUCTS are the most important things. You can make money back. It sucks that we had to make concessions to make Ford profitable even with lower sales, but it needed to be done. If they keep their labor costs down, we can get more products and jobs. If we demand back what we gave up, they will take products & jobs away, and still won't get COLA or raises or anything else back. This is the trade off we have to live with. Take some of the profit sharing money and inflation adjustments AND signing bonus and use it weekly in place of a raise or COLA. Be smart with that money and you will have extra each month for your bills. It sucks that our paychecks don't rise with inflation anymore, but you can make the bonuses work for you in the same way. Vote YES and we can live to fight another day, Vote NO and they can REPLACE us, it's not worth the risk!
louie
Vote YES and we can live to fight another day, Vote NO and they can REPLACE us, it's not worth the risk! I voted yes because of the billions of investment for locations like AAI. What is scary is if this is voted down the company can lock us out and replace us with scabs. Not Good!! A no vote will cost us wages, job security, benefits and job cuts, a no vote puts the company in complete control
