The site wouldnt let me upload it but its on the IUAW Facebook page in photos, of a Homeless Mother and her baby asleep on the sidewalk with a comment from Ronald R James " Turning down this contract could result in self imposed union busting. Lets not foll ourselves in thinking that scabs will not be used in case of a strike. Vote for the contract."

That is a pathetic, dispicable, disgusting, low down, shameful, embarrasing thing for our leaders to use such a photo to persuade us to vote yes.

Very humiliating for that mother and baby first of all and using it to strong arm us and a scare tactic as if this is what us and our families would become if we didnt vote yes. My family seen this and told me about it and my parents was disgusted . I had to try and explain to my child when I was asked how come your union would do such a thing with tears in her eyes.

Is this what our leaders have become?? I have it saved so if you (IUAW) tries to delete it like you didnt do it,too bad it will not work. This is going to be posted all over the internet. If I was that Mother I would sue the shit out of the IUAW for such humiliation and exploitation of their less fortunate and homeless life for them to use it to strong arm their membership to vote a certain way and that is illegal.

All i believe is us to have the right to vote either way we want without our leaders strong arming and using scare tactics and using threats and things like this photo to persuade their membership to vote a certain way. Its immoral and most of all illegal.

I think we should have the right to vote for our International President, vice president and all reps. The communist way they do of whoever is next in line for the throne and them picking whoever they decide to bring up to international needs to stop.. Just my opinion.... And this post is just something I needed to vent from the feeling I had after seeing this pic and statement. I hope I havent offended anyone on my statement.

Im not so sure thats why everbody is voting YES.It is in poor taste though.Bunch of juveniles we all are! :hyper: :shift:   :D  :koolaid: :alien:

Well im sure the pic isnt why either nobody seen the pic and statement. Im not bashing our union brothers and sisters,im bashing the International that would do such a thing just to get their way. That was going way too far.

Does seem kinda ironic that is was getting voted down till they started in on the scare tactics. Funny how 95% voted on a strike if need be then when it come down to it,nope cant do that. We should of just gave our right up to strike, hell we all are to scared to exercise it anyways. Hell we are not ever going to have the nerve to strike so I say we just give the right up and we all just split the 500 million we have in our strike fund.

I don't think it was a matter of being too scared to vote no. When you think about it, you realize we are just not in the right place to strike or send folks back to the table. Go back to the table in my eyes, would have got us less not more

Sjohnson, why if the IUAW was so effective and got plants to vote yes why did your plant vote no by a huge margin? You have the mindset that your take on this contract is the only viable correct path. Voting yes or no on this contract was not you are a good or bad person, but just UAW members that had different opinions. You may not like it but that is how democracy works!

WOW. Will you stop at nothing? Even if it wouldn't let you post the picture on this page, it WOULD let you post a LINK to the photo. However, you provide neither. I looked at the IUAW and Ford Department Facebook and saw nothing like you have mentioned. You are a liar, as you have proved many times.

For anyone who would like to check the photos of the IUAW or UAW Ford Department Facebook to confirm, here are the links:

http://www.facebook.com/uaw.union That's the International

http://www.facebook.com/uawforddept That's the Ford Department

I wish you would really quit your bullshit. Not only is it desperate and stupid. It's counterproductive to your cause, when it's so easy to prove you wrong.

As I said in my first post you dumbshit, its in photos and its right there. Black mother and her baby asleep on the sidewalk with a statement idiot. I just used the link you put on here and its there. Read what I said before your blow off at the mouth..

It doesnt matter what they say or do,obviously your just a dimwit that believes everything they tell you.

It doesnt matter to me if it passed or didnt,my point is they dont need to do some of the actions that they have done to get it to pass. Either way I will still go to work everyday like I always do. Why dont you look up imfo on your beloved IUAW and seek the truth instead of relying on what they tell you.

Heres one for ya, wsws.org. UAW bars World Socialist Web Site from press conferance. Guess their liars huh?

Heres another one I was talking about in another post. Alibaba.com China demands US companies hand over Electric vehicle technology... Their liars too huh?

Heres another one, thetruthaboutcars.com. General Motors Death Watch 165: The Veba Fiasco. Their liars too huh?? Thats another one I spoke about in a post. This explains the Veba and also The National Legal and Policy Centers website lists 84 cases of UAW/CAW corruption involving millions of dollars. Links only go back to 1998. Thats just cases that are known.

Now go look it up and quit acting like you know shit, all you know is what they have told you.

Have a great day poop!!!!

Sjohnson, I hope that you have a good ESSP rep. at your plant. I am sure you have read the contract and know how all the yes voters will regret their vote. But what if we are right and this ends up being a net positive for the UAW and tens of thousands of jobs are added in the US.? Anyone that can say with 100% knowledge the contract will be good or bad is just fooling themselves. I do not know you but I feel like I do because every plant has the resident expert who knows everything but never attends a Union meeting or has never sacrificed as a Union official. Easier to throw bombs than to catch them!

Thank you for posting the link, appreciate it,I couldn't get it to post from my computer. I guess some people don't know how to read right or follow instructions.

Well poop did you find it yet?

I did find it, and I apologize. Previously I was looking at their official photos that the IUAW put up, and not photos posted by other people on their wall. I think they should take it down, because it's bad form. However, it should be noted that the IUAW did not post the pic, it was some random guy that posted it to their wall. So, I'm not sure how much control they have over what other people post onto their wall.

I will. however. go on record here as saying I WAS WRONG, SJOHNSON GOT ONE ON ME! HE HAD THE GOODS, AND I DID NOT!

Hey poop, thank for the apology and apology accepted and I apologize for the way commented back on you. I come on here to just give my opinion on things and I dont try to offend another member. This was just my opinion on the photo I seen and I vented on here about it. I am also angry on the way our International and local reps went about strong arming us and the way they used their scare tactics to persuade a yes vote. We are adults and we can make our own decisions by the imfo giving to us about the contract without their childish threats.

I myself am not happy about alot of things my union has done and become. I am all union and believe strongly in union but not in the path their taking us down. Our new leader, leaders are not what the UAW is and stands for. I believe they are cheating us and I dont like the fact that we keep getting screwed while they sit up there and give themselves raises when not fighting for ours. A leader or leaders fight for their people and I feel they do the opposite.

I believe that our leaders have become corporate and selling us down the river and I figured this would happen as soon as they received all the shares of the auto companies for veba and now own like 36% of GM and like 46% of Chrysler (give or take a few percent),they received that much to sell and cover the rest of veba that they didnt receive but instead they have decided to hold on to it and play corporate against their own people. It is a conflict of interest for them to own that much of a company that they are union to the workers at the same companies. With that much ownership they are playing CEO's and management against their membership. They could have sold them shares by now,all three of Detroit 3's stock have been great lately to sell.

I hope this is right link http://www.wsws.org/articles/2011/oct2011/conf-o05.shtml

another one www.thetruthaboutcars.com/.../general-motors-death-watch-165-the-veba-fiasco/

I just like to try and put some imfo that I read on out there for people to know in case they may not..

Have a good evening poop...

You may have been wrong about whether it is there or not, but he's also wrong that the IUAW posted the picture. Its one of many random pictures posted on their site. I think we all have those, pictures people post. When you go to your photo's page they come up but with the posters name not yours.

So he's still lying.

Ok well if thats the case then I was wrong on who posted it but doesnt change the fact that they seen it and left it up there. Our unions is huge and its very important for us as an image. You cant tell me nobody at international doesnt ever look at pics and the comments on their own page.

Give it up Chuckie. You don't work for ford and have no stake in our plants vote.

No Chuckie here but your name on here sure fits what the yes vote might have done, damagedone is right. I hope they keep their promise on product commitment but from our past history from 2007 contract they didnt so just going by facts here. Also they promised 10,000 more jobs and we actually lost 17,000 workers back then.
