Skilled1
In chairmans report today that 57 former LTS are being made permanent employees of DTP. +1 Yes congratulations to the new hires,,,, Welcome. Its about time these 57 new hires were finally hired full time after years of being temporary. Some have been temps for over 5 years Welcome all......... DTP production jobs were posted 3 times last year in most zones with little or no volunteers so this scenario finally ended in hiring these well deserved full time jobs

ALEX4398
Will these employees be the first second tier employees in zone 1? I would liked to have seen them be made full share guys after being jerked around so long.

At least they will have seniority rights now, as well as some of the other benefits they did not have as LTS's.

Where do you work the ones on see do the job given to them and are learning others. That's way more than some 1st tier employees.

They get doubled up with the first tier slugs from part plants . It doesn't matter which tier it is Slugs are slugs .

Yeah to get trained. I trained someone one day and they had it the next. And if they aren't getting trained and just doubled up that's the team leader and managements fault.
XTCNAGT
In chairmans report today that 57 former LTS are being made permanent employees of DTP. I was curious why there is a bid up right now for 21 people to the Rouge site? If they hired 57, why not 21 more?
Pioneer
I was curious why there is a bid up right now for 21 people to the Rouge site? If they hired 57, why not 21 more? Could be because the Stamping plant is going to an A-B-C crew on the Schuler press and Focus door lines in January when MAP goes to 3 shifts. I am a tradesman with no production time and have wanted to go production at DTP for years. I have not seen any bids to DTP make it to my step in the hierarchy.
