In keeping with the early Cougar thoughts, the nose could also be well suited for hidden headlights. As a die hard Cougar fan, I think we tend project what we wish for when looking at a picture like this, thus I see Cougar traits. Having said all this, I doubt it's a new Cougar since it has a different roofline than the Mustang.
