Dual exhaust no longer on Titanium Hybrid

The updated Ford Fusion brochure no longer shows dual exhausts as part of the Titanium Hybrid equipment.

http://www.ford.com/services/assets/Brochure?make=Ford&model=Fusion&year=2013

My original Fusion brochure, obtained about a month ago, shows "Dual integrated bright exhaust tips" as standard on the Titanium Hybrid. They are also in the Fusion ipad App I downloaded just a few days ago.

But they are no longer listed in the updated brochure.

Don't know if it's a case of marketing getting ahead of engineering or a serious case of bad quality control.

In any case it makes Ford look like a very disorganized company making it up as it goes.

Well that sucks. I think there are a lot of last minute changes going on and the documentation folks are having a hard time keeping up.

I'm considering going back to a non hybrid Titanium since I can get it on X plan and probably can't get much of a discount on a hybrid making the price difference a lot bigger. Plus I really want the 19" h spokes and dual exhaust.

It does suck and really makes the titanium much less appealing. Little difference between a fully loaded SE and a Titanium.

I'm very disappointed. How can you have something in your brochures and then erase it as if it was never there?

I ordered my titanium on x-plan.

Again - that's the danger ordering a vehicle before it's in production. Everything is subject to change. Actually they can change things mid year also. Of course you should have the option to cancel the order if you don't like the changes.

This is not a good launch no matter how you look at it. But I think the product will be worth it.

You still get the Sony radio and push button start/intelligent access plus some other stuff with the Tit Hybrid so I wouldn't say little difference.

Well that will suck, if true, because those cosmetic items were a big piece of what drove me to choose the titanium over the SE in the first place. I seriously hope it is just a problem with the brochure and not a real change to the car. What is the point of having a titanium trim level if the trim is no different?

They also do not list "Body-color door handles with chrome insert" which are on the gas titanium.

Good point, but those were neve listed on the Hybrid Titanium. I just realized that, looking at the old brochure ... I guess I just expected all Gas Titanium features to apply to the Hybrid :(

There is an ipad App for the Fusion that has all trim descriptions. The door handles with chrome insert are listed there.

Of course so are the dual exhausts. I can't imagine that we wouldn't get the chrome inserts.

Another detail someone noticed. Dune leather may now be an option on Titanium Hybrid. Page 22 of brochure.

Wow, if this is true, I'm both impressed and annoyed. Impressed because I'm glad that Ford won't block customers from having this choice. Annoyed because I bought the Hybrid SE instead of waiting for the Hybrid Titanium because their brochure at the time said that Dune wouldn't be available on the Hybrid Titanium. :-\

Yesterday I asked a FoMoCo product specialist at the Silicon Valley Auto Show if Dune was now an option with Titanium. He looked it up on his pad and said no, he did not see that listed. FWIW.

My dealer confirmed that for the Titanium trim one can choose any interior one wishes - as long as they choose black.

He had no clue as to how many exhaust tips would come on the car - though his opinion was one.

The Titanium Energi I saw at the Silicon Valley (San Jose) show had 1 tip. They also had an ICE Titanium, with 2 tips.
