silvrsvt
Nice idea and setup... Capacitor=battery, but in smaller packaging....hopefully there won't be technical issues with it like GM is having with its E-assist mild hybrid.
tecsys3
Pretty sure its the 184 hp 2.5. That's not bad for 40 MPG; should give enough of a kick when you need it and still keep the wallet healthy
jpd80
Makes me think that Ford could have done similar with their version of the basically the same engine, maybe 100% focus on Ecoboost strategy has closed off a great opportunity For Ford to do its own DI 2.5... LDB415
I didn't expect mpg numbers anywhere near those but may wish I'd shopped a little longer if my numbers don't improve some as the miles build up.

What kind of MPG are you seeing on your Fusion on the long highway drives? And how many miles does it have? Shouldn't be that far off right..? LDB415
I haven't done a long drive yet. I've only got about 300 miles on it. Going across town I'm getting about 27.5 so I suspect if/when I take a long trip I may see 30. My overall is likely going to be more like 23.x it appears though.
