silvrsvt
http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2015/05/nair-pardo-drop-hints-ford-gt-lemans-new-shelby-cobra-auto-moto-film-fest/#more-1078545 One thing I found curious is this: Pardo’s (designer of the 2005 GT) current relationship with Ford is complicated. When he left Ford it was rumored he expected to be fired, with higher ups at Ford unhappy about the attention he got over the GT, his ego and his artist’s lifestyle. Um I don't recall any of this happening?!?
RichardJensen
There was some noise on Jalopnik in '09: http://jalopnik.com/5131260/report-rock-star-car-designer-camilo-pardo-ford-to-split-ways However, it doesn't appear that he's harboring any particular ill-will, etc., based on this fairly enthusiastic review of the new GT:http://www.fordgtforum.com/2015/01/21/design-analysis-camilo-pardo-on-the-new-ford-gt/ And I would also point out that the Jalopnik article which says that he was window-seated does not jibe with him being the lead designer on the drop-dead gorgeous GR-1, or working with Carroll Shelby: Edited June 1, 2015 by RichardJensen
coupe3w
What about Mays? Haven't heard much from him since he moved.
mackinaw
Camilo Pardo was a guest on AutoLine After Hours back in December. Look for episode #268. Well worth the listen.
