nmadole
So earlier this year I noticed the paint on my car Bubbling on the Left fender, and below both passenger doors. All of which was repaired under the manufacturer warranty. I am now at 40,000 miles (just under 3 years of ownership) and the there is a inch area of paint bubbling on hood where it meets the fender. I did buy the extended warranty, but I don't think that paint is covered.... What are my options? How much will this cost me out of pocket to fix? Any way to convince the dealership to fix it gratis? (since it is obviously a defect / no physical damage).
fordtech1
I would talk to my dealer and since you have had paint issues before, maybe they will give you assistance. Other option is to call customer service and ask for help. I would ask the dealer first.
nmadole
Ford will be covering a portion and I will be paying a portion... I have a feeling this won't be the last paint issue I have. Anyone here getting small chips in the paint on your hood (all the way down to the sheet metal)?
