Floor Liners

Late reply but I just ordered the Husky X-act Contour floor mats after much deliberation. Most reviewers agree that they are better than the Weathertech that I have previously used. I will try to post a review after they arrive.

Can't give much of a review yet on the fitment of the mats but they appear to be a little nicer texture and a little thicker than the weather tech. Once my truck gets here, I can give a better review.

I have Husky X-act Contour floor mats in my 2016 F150 Lariat. I like them so well, I will purchase them for our second vehicle when it comes time to replace it.

Would you go Husky over WeatherTech?

I would stick with Husky. Can't say anything one way or the other about WeatherTech mats. I have never had them.

I have had weather tech in my previous 3 vehicles and am giving the Husky's a shot. They are currently sitting in my dining room floor waiting on my truck but they do appear to be of a little nicer quality than the WT mats.

Is this for the raptor? Can you post pictures of them

Here are some comparison pics of the Weathertech mats from my Silverado to the Husky mats that I have purchased for my Raptor. The Husky mats feel much heavier than the Weathertech and also the nubs on the bottom are a huge improvement to me vs having to screw in anchors into the carpet for the WT mats.

Do the Husky mats have more of a rubbery feel to them? The Weathertech mats have more of a plastic feel to me.

The Weathertech mats are made near where I live. Do you know where the Huskies are made?

Husky mats definitely have a more rubbery feel.

The stock Ford mats have a nice feel to them, but just don't have complete coverage.

I really wanted to like the stock mats but looking at them over and over again, it looks like they are lacking on coverage underneath the pedals. I really like to keep the carpet as nice as possible.

Oh yeah, says they are made in the USA. Address on website is:

I have Husky's in my Explorer and in my SD. They are better then the Weathertechs.. much nicer feel to them and they are more flexible. You can roll them and fold them to create a bowl effect so when you have to empty them, it doesn't spill into the truck. The harder plastic material is not nearly as flexible and can spill when you have to lift them or tilt them to get them out of the truck.

Husky all the way!!

I put the Husky in my 2015 Super Crew and they cover door sill to door sill. They are thicker than Weather Tech mats that I have purchased for my son's Ram. The rear covers the floor completely. Glad I bought them.

The only thing I would caution about softer rubber is that it tends to wear out more quickly at your heals. My Dad had really thick rubber floor mats in his Ranger and after 3 or 4 years he wore a hole right through them. His weather tech floor mats in his F-150 held up well for 5 years before he traded it. That's why I tend to be skeptical of soft rubber although they should last as long as you own the car regardless. They also clean up better, less absorbent and easier to scrub down. I go to a retailer very regularly and they powerwash my WT matts once a month.

Damn.....you'd think the new Raptor mats would be good considering the amount of upgrading that went into the design. I hate when they skimp on important details like mats. My 2001 sport track mats are stock, made of heavy fibers. I'll admit it's dryer than a desert out here but still, they have lasted 16 years. No rubber in them.

IMO husky over weathertech. I felt the rubber was much softer on the husky. For cold canadian winters I was worried that the harder plastic would end up being more slippery.

I've had WeatherTech's in my previous '11 F150 Lariat and just picked some up for my '15 F150 Platinum.  I'll never have another vehicle without them.  Perfectly mapped to the vehicle and superior spill protection.
