justkillintime
These are scanned images of what the uaw gave us so we had some info on what we were voting on. I don't believe that there are any copyright issues in posting this. I posted it earlier and the images were removed, if they remove them again i would assume that this sight is worried about legal ramifications and that is why. Sorry if they are gone when you try to read this and i"m sorry if i am creating a problem for the sight. I take it back I guess they didn't remove it from the sight, must just be my fire wall not letting me see it.
PFA
We had a copy at our plant today.... Did the vote pass? We had a copy at our plant today....Did the vote pass? . . . . grindliner1968
I would strongly suggest that every hourly employee in the system take the time to download these documents and read them. If you have been waiting for a wakeup call, its right there in black and white, with alot of grey areas as well. I have read them all, and it's not pretty, and guess what, it's coming to your plant too. Don't believe it, wait and see. Almost every document refrences Best In Class, so guess what, that means it will be implemented company wide. Thinking of voting it down?......Remember the Benefit vote last year that supposedly passed by a convienient 1%.........Heelllllloooooo! If you do succeed in voting it down?........Let's see how long it takes the company to start shipping people off to GEN........ Face it we are in tough times, and we are in a major catch 22, and the time has come that we need to decide between our lifestyles and our livelyhoods! No, it's not an easy decision, by ay means. you must think about the decision you make, because it's going to affect you for the rest of your life. No one is going to be happy either way. So my other suggestion is to give up a couple of hours of your time and attend your next union meeting so you can make an educated descision, instead of basing it on what you read hear and in the newspaper. This is my own opinion, and my own thoughts, if you have a problem with it, G.F.Y.

BioDiesel
One of these articles stated that non apprenticeable trades such as carpenters, painters, cement finishers etc. would be "red circled". What does red circled mean? Anyone know for sure?
DearbornDerek
Well a friend of mine in MP&L said most them (mp&l) were red circled. If they get bumped out, you go back to the job you held before going to MP&L (unless it was a bidded position). For him it would be back to chassis. IndyMan
Ford has asked us to work something above minimal effort. This sucks, I quit and am taking my ball with me. The UAW laziness for years brought this on and now you guys are crying like 4 year olds that just got their pacifiers taken away. The whole practice of "paid for what we know/do, not how much" is gone. Wake up or find a job for $12.00/hour. IM

What does red circled mean? Anyone know for sure? From my interpretation of the agreement, "red circle" means that your pay is froze at the current rate, that if you retire or except a new classification the position that you held is eliminated. This will go on until the non apprenticible trade is eliminated.

What does red circled mean? Anyone know for sure? A job that is red circled is gone when they red circle a job they keep who ever is on that job but if they leave the job will just go away it will not and I mean will not filled they will just distribute the work to other people. at slap they red circled our oilers and powerhouse people and they are gone but then again so are we lol
