I got a message yesterday my Navigator is at the dealer! But.....they found one of the running boards was not operating correctly :cry:Part has been ordered and it should be here sometime today or the beginning of next week. Sucks it just left the plant only 400 miles away and already something doesn't work. I am happy they found it though and that they are fixing it before giving it to me. This waiting is killing me.......sooo close.

Not to sound like a dick so please dont take it that way: that is a risk you take when you buy an early build of a brand new model like that. At least your dealer was able to catch it and fix it before you picked it up.

Congrats on the new ride though, hopefully thats the only hiccup for you.

Unfortunately you almost have to expect one or two things like that on a brand new model like Fuzzy says.

I knew that with my 2013 Fusion and I did end up having to take it back a couple of times.

I did the same thing with a 2006 Fusion (brand new model ground up) and never had a problem and a 2000 Lincoln LS that ended up with a few issues.

But in all cases getting the vehicle early and being able to drive it rather than wait another year was definitely worth it and I’m sure this will be too.
