The order guide and pricing information is also available now on FMCDealer for your review. Preliminary content on eSourceBook for 22MY Mustang will be available soon, with full content scheduled to be published on November 9, 2021. WHAT’S NEW Colors: There are 7 new colors for 22MY Mustang! These include: Atlas Blue Metallic Brittany Blue Metallic (Late Availability) Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat Dark Matter Gray Metallic Eruption Green Metallic (Late Availability) Grabber Blue Metallic Mischievous Purple Metallic (Late Availability) VP Packages: There are 4 new VP packages for 22MY Mustang! They include: Ice White Appearance Package (Press Release) Stealth Package (Press Release) California Special (Press Release). Can now be paired with the GT Performance Package!) Coastal Limited Package (late availability) HP: Starting with 22MY, Mustang 5.0-liter V-8 engine horsepower and torque has been reduced by 10 hp and 10 lbs.-ft. to meet more stringent emissions requirements. The 2022 Mustang GT will have 450 horsepower; Mach 1, 470 horsepower The 2022 Mustang GT will have 410 lb.-ft @ 4,600 RPM; Mach 1, 410 lb.-ft. @ 4,800 RPM. ice-capades Posted October 11, 2021 Author Share Posted October 11, 2021 The 2022 Mustang USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) is NOT yet open as the 2022 Mustang specifications are not yet available in the WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system and the 2022 Mustang Price List has not yet been released to Dealers. Job #2 OKTB July 27th, 2022. ACTION REQUESTED Review Retail Orders for 2022MY Mustangs to see if you have any orders impacted for the Job #2 IP change. All customers with affected retail orders must be made aware of this cosmetic change SUMMARY Please be advised there will be a change to the instrument panel finish to some of the 2022MY Mustang arrays beginning with Job #2 production that begins shipping to dealers on 07/25/2022. All customers with affected retail orders must be made aware of this cosmetic change while dealer stock orders require no special handling. While the automotive industry continues to be confronted by supply chain shortages, Ford is working diligently on the delivery of our vehicles to dealers and customers. These shortages impact a wide variety of components used to manufacture our products. As a result, Ford will be making the following product offering changes to the 22MY Mustang that will affect the color of the instrument panel finish on four (4) separate pieces of the instrument panel on certain build combinations. The four panels affected are: Centre Panel Headlamp Switch Bezel Left Side Outboard Leg Panel Right Side Outboard Leg Panel The series affected include the EcoBoost Premium (200A/201A), GT (300A/301A), GT Premium (400/401A), and the California Package (54C). To understand which series and the exact panels affected, please refer to the attached Instrument Panel J2 Changes & Illustration. ice-capades Posted August 3, 2022 Author Share Posted August 3, 2022 INFORMATION 2022 Model Year Escape and Mustang - Important Retail Order Bank Update ACTION REQUESTED Inform your teams that the final day to submit new customer retail orders for 2022 Model Year Escape and Mustang is August 10, 2022. Retail ordering reopens for 23MY later this year SUMMARY Escape and Mustang continue to experience high customer demand. We are making the decision to pause and no longer accept new 2022 Model Year Escape and Mustang retail orders after August 10, 2022 to focus on existing orders. After August 10, 2022 and for the remainder of the 2022 model year, dealers will continue to be able to submit orders for Escape and Mustang dealer stock inventory and if selected for scheduling within existing commodity constraints, customers will be able to purchase these vehicles from dealers upon arrival. We will start retail ordering for the 2023 Model Year Escape and Mustang later this year. KEY DATES August 10, 2022: Dealers have until 10pm EDT to submit new 2022 Escape and Mustang retail orders WBDO/CONCEPs will no longer accept new retail orders after this date and time August 17, 2022: Dealers must complete the Retail Order Verification Process by 10pm EDT for new retail orders to be considered for 2022 Model Year Escape and Mustang scheduling ADDITIONAL INFORMATION We will continue to prioritize existing verified retail orders for 2022 Escape and Mustang submitted prior to or on August 10, 2022, pending specific supply/commodity availability WBDO will allow dealers to modify specs on existing retail orders after August 10, 2022 Body and PEP codes cannot be changed 2022 Model Year Escape and Mustang dealer stock inventory ordering will remain open after August 10, 2022 New customer retail orders will resume with the opening of the 2023 Model Year Escape and Mustang later this year More information about 2023 Model Year Escape and Mustang will be shared at a later date 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
