ice-capades Posted October 3, 2021 Author Share Posted October 3, 2021 (edited) 2022 Model Year Transition Customer Satisfaction Private Offer The following information is from the notice sent to Ford Dealers on 09/24/2021 and has been edited to provide only the information applicable to unscheduled 2021 Model Year Mustang Mach-E retail orders. Customers with unscheduled 2021 Mustang Mach-E retail orders should contact their Dealer for additional information and/or confirmation. SUMMARY Due to unpresented circumstances, we will not have enough allocation/commodities to build all of the 21MY unscheduled verified retail orders that are currently in the order bank. Total numbers are still being finalized but we anticipate several key vehicle lines to be impacted. We recognize the importance of taking care of these customers and are announcing the 22 Model Year Transition Customer Satisfaction Private Offer Program. In an effort to support our valued customers and to make this model year transition as smooth as possible, Ford will be providing customers with a verified unscheduled 21MY Retail Order with a private offer that can be applied toward the purchase or lease of a new vehicle. Mustang Mach-E - $750 Retail Offer Mustang Mach-E - $750 Lease Offer ACTION REQUESTED 21MY Mustang Mach-E Unscheduled Retail Orders Next Steps: For Mustang Mach-E specifically, Ford will automatically convert unscheduled 21MY retail orders to a 22MY order • Ford will convert orders to the same specification, or the closest possible specification, in the new model year. • Updated 22MY model year orders will appear in WBDO with a 99-Priority Code on 9/30 Mustang Mach-E Online Orders: ▪ Customers who placed their retail order online, Ford will be sending an email to those customers directly, notifying them that their order will be updated to a 22MY unit. Dealers must follow up with customers verifying their updated 22MY order, detailing the private offer or provide the option to take delivery of a 21MY unit from dealer stock. Mustang Mach-E Offline Orders: ▪ Customers who placed their order directly with the dealership, Dealers will need to email affected customers (using email template provided) and follow up with customer via phone, verifying their updated 22MY order, detailing the private offer or provide the option to take delivery of a 21MY vehicle from dealer stock. ▪ Customer lists will be distributed through Regional Field teams and updated on a weekly basis ▪ Dealer will need to submit 22MY order on the COVP website with the new order information or indicate if customer purchases from stock (Updated COVP website will be live early October) Dealers must contact affected customers by 11/1/21: o Make any changes to the order that the customer may want (e.g. color, model, battery) o Once customer’s order is confirmed, remove 99 Priority code o The revised priority code must be in the retail range of 10 to 19, priority code 10 is recommended 21MY UNSCHEDULED RETAIL ORDER ELIGIBILITY RULES Order Receipt Date Eligibility: Private offer eligibility determined by COVP approved unscheduled retail orders with order receipt dates prior to the 22MY order bank opening. 21MY orders submitted in WBDO after the 22MY order bank opens are not eligible for COVP verification. COVP Verification Deadline: Dealers must submit original 21MY order (within order receipt date eligibility) for COVP verification by 11/1/21. Regardless of approval status, Private Offer certificates will not be generated for customers with unscheduled 21MY retail orders submitted in COVP after 11/1/2.
