KonevTremor
Hello, I want to purchase and install a cat-back exhaust on my pick up. Will this modification void any of my ford and extended bumper to bumper warranties? https://www.stage3motorsports.com/49-43117-b-17-20-f250-f350-afe-power-rebel-3-409-ss-exhaust.html

BUT.... Only on items that the exhaust may affect. Like.. Your new exhaust is put against Trans and then your Trans goes out prematurely do to overheating. Or the new exhaust melts wiring harness yaddy yaddy yadda.. I am happy with my aftermarket exhaust, I went with the stainless Works. Sounds great except at high rpm and then it sounds like a 75 pickup with stock 302 and thrushes or cherry bombs Edited November 20, 2022 by IUEC135ELEVATOR
NH_Bulldog
It will only create a warranty issue if the modification can be proven to have directly caused the failure being reported under a warranty claim. This is why we have had the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act since 1975.
akirby
I’ve never seen or heard of a cat back exhaust causing a problem. It’s probably the safest mod you can do.
