wrench69
I've seen a lot of news articles recently that discuss data collection from big tech. I didn't realize it, but our Super Duty trucks (2020 and newer) have the ability to send data back to the mother ship any time they can access a cell tower, via the modem that is installed in the truck. What data is included? What kind of info are they collecting? Who knows? This seems very intrusive. Anyone else have the same thoughts? lcseds
If you drill down into the connected features menu on the Sync 4 you can turn a lot of data transmitting off. But then you obviously lose the benefits of a connected system. I'm okay with it.
