Howman
Just received email from Ford on production week (2/24/25) and received VIN! While the production date is further out than I expected, I am glad to receive notice that it has been scheduled and to receive VIN. Now the long wait! 😀
TPJC1018
My '25 Navigator is the same date. I ordered it on the 1st day. I like you was expecting it to be sooner given production was supposed to be starting on 1/6.

I figured that my user name would spark someone, especially on this forum. Mine is also a '69 R code Mach1 with a 4 speed. Candy Apple Red with dark red interior. Was a work in progress when I bought it in early 2002. Restoration started in late 2012 and finished in spring of 2015. Done by a career body man. I have not the talent nor equipment for such a project. Thanks for asking. More info on yours? Dave.  Just realized that the cover is partially on the car in this photo. No, haven’t taken delivery yet. Told by Ford that ETA to dealer is between 3/16 and 3/26.

Thanks. We have fun with it. You have 2? You are a glutton for punishment. Mine came with a open 3.50 rear. Toploader is original per the partial vin on the front flange. Block is about 3 months newer than the car so probably a service block as no vin is stamped on it. The Marti report is very informative. The dealer that sold the car new in Oct. 1968 is still in business in Valdosta, GA. They sent two of the dealer plates that they put on cars when they sell them. I cover my Ohio tags with them at shows. Your SCJ is quite the collector piece. Great color also. Fun stuff to drive.

imm009
Hello, has there been any progress with your order? My situation is quite similar to yours. My order was confirmed on October 29th last year, and it entered production on February 21st this year. However, there have been no updates since then. I tried to contact my sales representative, but apart from receiving an internal screenshot marked as "NON SHIPPABLE," I have not gotten any further information. I did some research myself and even managed to find the VIN and order number by searching nearby inventory. Then I called a local Ford dealer pretending to be a potential buyer interested in a vehicle to inquire about the current situation from the manufacturer. I received two unconfirmed pieces of information: The manufacturer is conducting quality control inspections, which is quite normal and standard procedure for a newly redesigned model. After some vehicles were shipped from the factory last month, they encountered hailstorms, resulting in damage to some vehicles. Ford is prioritizing repairs on those damaged vehicles, which has caused overall delivery delays. (This information came from my local dealer, where a repaired official "like-new" vehicle from Kentucky is expected to arrive soon.)

Mine went "In Production" a week earlier that the 5-12 original date. As of now it is listed as still "In Production". I've been able to view the window sticker for a week+. Good luck.  CJ Dave.
