TheLemon
LINK Leaving Ford Ford has seen an exodus of top talent!?!?!?!?! (questionable...) since early 2005, including: # Earl Hesterberg, former vice president of North American marketing and sales # Steve Lyons, former Ford division vice president # Greg Smith, former president of Ford North America # Anne Stevens, chief operating officer of Americas division # Phil Martens, group vice president for product creation # Steve Hamp, Bill Ford's former chief of staff
igor
is your senile brain incapable of any memory? Ford stated they will be reducing the crop of top level execs .. this is the first voluntary departure not part of that plan - all the others have not been replaced- and are simple cost cutting measures. Besides .. how is Hamp and others TALENT?!?!? (idiot) This is the first position slatted for replacement. oh .. why am I even trying ... you do not care about reason ... pcsario
The only true loss in that list is Phil Martens.

Igor Agreed Fustrating how some people can't think for themselves. Just another example of propaganda! i get sick of hearing and reading information that is twisted or misunderstood with no effort involved in finding out the REAL truth. J-150
The only true loss in that list is Phil Martens. good point. I wonder how many on that list are part of the reason Ford continues to decline. Maybe they needed to leave before they were fired. Case in point... Steve Lyons bobble-head dolls. Like that move did anything to rally the troops. Edited November 8, 2006 by J-
RichardJensen
Departure of Martens led to the promotion of Kuzak. Martens was apparently ... difficult. There was an engineer that was referred to as Martens' hatchet man, who was fired last summer, shortly before Martens took a powder. Martens oversaw C170, Kuzak oversaw C1. Don't think much was lost talent-wise.
