I'd expect a price bump since the Fiesta is in the market now and the Focus doesn't have to be a bottom feeder doing both the B and C market. Plus there be other things that will make the car more profitable for Ford like commonality between it and the rest of the world vs whats happened in the past.

Maybe thats why I got the feeling in my parents Sable that I was sitting up too high in it...I never had that issue in any other car I've been in. Was one of the reasons I didn't care for it.

Parents have a Sable, and I have to agree with your comments, perfectly nice,, but boring car, but its an Old Man's Car as my sister puts it. The New Taurus totally changes that...its finally an aspirational car.

I used to use it all the time with my Focus SVT, one of the things I miss not having in the Mustang! I'm talking about the steering wheel/Column mounted audio controls

I don't even see a Volume control on the center stack, maybe steering wheel mounted controls are standard?

I would too, but I'd much rather see the EB I4 in them then having an overpowered MKX :P

which is the way of saying that any form of Ecoboost in them is currently not going to happen due to packaging issues. I do have to say I'm really impressed by the center stack on the MKX...I wonder whats in store for the Edge. It doesnt even look like Ford/Lincoln switch gear is being used in it!

My sister told me this morning that the local Ford dealership was supposed to have a 2010 Taurus up there today, but forgot to tell me about it when she called this AM and then remembered when I talked to her again later in the afternoon! :P

I have to totally agree with you, it seems all that TTAC is about is just publishing polarizing/inflammatory information. I read RF review of the 2010 Mustang and he was a total idiot...like saying he was afraid of the car going sideways on him, which is totally unjustified since I find it nearly impossible to do with my 06 GT with the TC engaged and little bit of driving skill not to wipe the car out.
