  1. Looks like a Y-pipe catback, which could also mean boosted 4-eco . . . .
  2. Darn good looking vehicle. I would put serious thought into owning one equipped as such . . . .
  3. I would be interested in Connect "Express" too with your options!
  4. Hmmm . . . I would like a Fusion (size/type) wagon, AWD, 2.0 Eco, 6-speed auto, and some performance type suspension package as a daily driver.
  5. I would bet Cammer . . . . but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I was wrong. Not sure how much testing the new 5.0 has undergone in race application.
  6. I bet my Mach could go faster!! :o Just kidding . . . . or am I?!?!
  7. I think the question is who would broadcast the race?! Maybe SPEED TV can tape delay the race for six months before airing . . . Sure would have been nice to watch the SPEED GT Challenge race live to see Brandon Davis capture the Championship.
  8. I always liked the 5-speed Vulcan Probes (as well as the 5-speed Vulcan Tempos). I never owned one, but always wanted one for some reason . . .
  9. Wife test drove a SEL with Leather, moonroof, and LOVED IT! (I loved it too.) She had a Five Hundred before her Fusion, and was amazed how far along the car had come along. I didn't drive it, but it had the most comfortable driving seat, postion, etc. of any car relatively close in price range. Price was $30,575. I foresee a Taurus in our future . . . . maybe a 12-18 months out.
  10. Looking great!! ProStock has always been my favorite of the "TV" classes. Can't wait to see it on the track!!
  11. Aussie V8s still use 5.0L OHV Engines (Ford=Windsor based). For sake of reference . . . http://wapedia.mobi/en/V8_Supercars?t=2.4 and http://www.v8supercars.com.au/content/atta...20Ford%20BF.pdf.
  12. The only make that doesn't have a "similar engine" from the NASCAR owned Rolex DPs is Chrysler. And you don't need 850-900HP for Super Speedways, heck they only make ~450-550hp with the plates and the racing is horrible. But I agree . . . when it makes sense for NASCAR they will change . . .
  13. I heard Mr. Roush also put a 5.0 DP engine in Cup Car (recently) . . . . just for kicks . . . . though I am not sure if it was a COT or the old car.
  14. The Hajek Motorsports E85 FR500C would have been a much better "template." And it has run on 'dega . . . . crashed too . . . but that is a different story . . . In fact . . .Take this FR500C "template" and throw in the 5.0 4V V8 from the Ford Powered Rolex DPs and you have a winning formula for an improved Nationwide series.
  15. I think that is my favorite Challenger. Very cool . . .
  16. I am not disputing your assertion on his blogs being "skewed" towards GM. Given his history, it is natural he would lean a certain way. I was simply stating that he has been quite positive towards FMC and Mulally. (And I'd give a fair shake towards John prompting him from time-to-time.)
