    True, new letter from plant mgr. Says the 230 reduction includes skilled trades. Plus maybe 20 or 30 might get romeo posting. Still a big number to send over.

    So school me on how it works? Do you get your earned pension amount right away? Social security supplements? , continuing health insurance? Or do these get lost in exchange for the cash?

    Thank you. Asked about it at info meeting and was told not to worry about it unless you had 85 points. We will wait and see how it comes out. I'm hoping for less points.

    I'm at 620. Fmc wouldn't go 19k for a used car, but offered a decent rate on a new flex. Ended up going used at my credit union at 6%. And they do weekly deduction just like fmc.

    not great pics but spotted this electric focus with manufacturers plate on m53 near romeo michigan.

    finally got my pics to upload! this was taken near romeo michigan. had ford style chrome grill. mazda tail lights. seemed just a little smaller than my 03 f150.

    IIs it true that there is a posting up at Sterling for 40 transfer to van dyke? We've heard that all placements now will go to them per new contact. Is this the way it works, or just more gossip?

    I have a pic I took yesterday of a Mazda /ranger near Romeo, mi. Mazda rear and three bar blueoval front. I can't get it to post though...arrgh

    Yes. 2ft would be for truck Canada. Ontario truck plant. Otp Oakville on. Opened 1969. Closed in 2004.

    no strike. mr. settles just doesnt want to be embarrased by no vote. (im voting yes. ) just telling you the truth.

    i agree with you in that its much more likely than a strike. then the question comes down to replacement workers. would ford risk it? and if they do are we comitted enough to occupy the plants the way our grandfathers did?
