I just do not get it. I see countless elderly people driving Toyota's with big American flag decals in the window. I can not tell you how many old people drive Toyota's with Illinois Veteran's License Plates on them. My grandfather was a Navy man stationed at Pearl Harbour and he was the biggest Ford man in the family. He hated Japanese cars.

I've seen two so far. I saw a red one a while back, and just the other day I spotted a black one sitting in the lot of a local bar. I knew what it was right away.

Anyone else get nevous when they see a Toyota approaching? I know I have been the last few days.

It seems their are several Toyota models that use a rubber engine oil hose. Well, the hoses are failing, leaving customers with a potential oil fire hazard. The part is on national back order and customers are being told they will have to wait as long as five weeks for a replacement oil line. I was able to drive a preproduction Freestyle before they went on sale. Also drove several Montegos, to test them during a campaign.

I will reserve judgement until I see the new Fusion in person. I was sort if iffy about the 09 F-150 until I spotted my first one on the street the other day. The new F-150 looks great coming up the road. So far I think the new Fusion looks sweet and I would like to be in one soon.

Cousin Carl kicked some ass this year. Toyota really chocked big time. Racing was tight right up until the very end. I do attend some of the races, but prefer to stay at home and watch it.
