  1. In the Contract it said they were going to close they were 95% long term supplements that are becoming full time so they can transfer to the openings now instead of being left out in the cold.
  2. it was 2701 yes 291 no 2992 total vote count
  3. just food for thought KCAP works 3 12 hour shift sat sun and a day during the week d shift is 9am to 9pm E shift 9 pm to 9 am. total they work 36 hours and get paid 44 hours on d shift they work 36 hours on e shift plus 10 % shift premium sure working weekends suck but you can plan around it you get 4 days off plus paid over 40 hours rdo days 1st 2 are at 1.5 times 2nd two rdo are at 2 times. just something to think about. plus they also have the 3 shift traditional maintenance. that's the best schedule out there
  4. Whoa there u are assuming and u know what assuming does. There was no agreement reached till friday, strike vote brought international in to finally due there job. trades weekend crew had no full time rep till friday, so there was no mysterious pre resoultioun you talk about. ask the tradespeople on weekend d and e crew. At least jeff has balls to do a strike vote, second one so far. rd would have sold us out like he has done on the coa he navigated through before going to regional. Sorry about your commiteeman, vote accordingly, but not all incumbents are bad look individually before you yell mob mentallity off with there heads. past chairmans sold us out daily when things were good and no one paid attention.
  5. well canada welcome to the real world us got told not enough product for all plants and there stll promising unknown products to a few of the us plants. BASICALLY WE ARE ALL FUCKED. Ford is shopping plant against plant tax incentives whatever they get. Sorry st thomas But ford fucked you when they never updated the crown vic sorry . Vote and good luck just be glad you are not chrysler.
  6. because ford hires locally by plant not national senority thats why no matter how the international backdoors national senority it is not there you have contractual rights by plant only .
  7. what do you need to buy to upgrade a taurus limited to the nav system has everything but anyone help me on what is needed other than the nav radio thanks
  8. hello can anyone help me i bought an 08 taurus limited loaded but no nav system what do i need to buy to upgrade it other than the radio nav can anyone help me tell me if wiring harness is same etc thanks
  9. if they call it the escape then we have transfer of operation rights as was done to kansas city and would you stay with that new transt hell no i want to retire and with 20 years following the escape to louisville if they call it the escape i want my job . also that includes tradespeople also like it or not.
  10. thats because they were already building that product when kcap took mariner people came with it.
  11. taking a product is transfer of operations and yes we get to follow are product ask ohio
  12. yes listen to what they say and also ask them what concessions that we are giving what concessions are they giving we gave up 3% last contract gettlefucker gave himeself a raise so if there not giving then we don't give period . hi paid lazy ass giveback backstabbers !!! lead by fucking example i loose pay you loose pay.
  13. hey did not the uaw vote to take 160 milion for organizing from sub fund if they want a cut then all uaw officers can repay the money and take a concession too. hear that gettlefucker you got a raise before healthcare concession where is your pain wait you get a second pension from the uaw yaeh feel the pain put the money back you fucking crooks.
  14. ask all the old timers about givebacks in the 80's and what the company promised happy days gone raises gone and ford promised not to raise the price of cars and what happened before the ink was dry they raised car prices. promises of products for concesions is a lie ford cannot meet there promises now on 07 contract for product or veba . so until they reduce salary costs and reward us back for previous cuts meaning if we risk then we deserve equal reward. not giving the tan man mark fields millions are retiree's will take a fucking and guess what people some day you will be the retiree and what comes around goes around ie the 80's the 2000's ford and the uaw are to damn dumb to learn so tink before you act or react.
  15. international constitution is where adios gettlefucker
  16. dont count on kcap loosing the escape gettlefucker hits 65 and manditory retirement and the company can recind any commitements they made funny though the next generation escape or something else has already been run through kc and as the rouge betting they get the f100 ranger replacement after all is said and done, and lousiville gets a small car so we will see only time will tell
  17. hey i am nondenominational heathen i say work and be glad you have a job in this economy lots of brother and sisters laid off would be glad 2 have a job. god's open 24 /7 he understands whats going on and would not have these trials if he new you could not handle it. besides 90% of the people after the survey will say they want to work days and by majority you will loose then what so pray for guidance. and stop causing dissent .
  18. yes since all these tradseman sat in a meeting and were told if they came as production they had to sign all recall rights away at that meeting was tom obreck and ken dearing they signed and they came to kcap. so please call the international and let them know how you feel
  19. no maybee 7 tradseman if the go had 100 plus sign up that does not mean they will go rumor is no replacing on the trades still have to many will cut down to minnimum number and then cover shortages with overtime plus that does not count the apprentices on course 20 or so that when they turn out they will fill slots.
  20. 415 its a written agreemant fro mcfarlen on the 09 truck seen the paper
  21. twin cam the coa isnt the best but ask lorain about the escape they turned down the moa and kcap got it most of the coa is workrule changes and keeping jobs till contract make the international do the dirty work not the local. is it great no but it's livable and the biggest thing is the cap program that about 300 deadbeats will go into and be steps or less and there fired no doctor excuses will be taken no bidding on jobs bo flipping there fucked unless they keep a clean record for 12 months and its about time. on st louis old shorty there chairman bulled up on ford ford put them on closure list and after that they wanted to talk to little to late.we have 1 chance. ever seen anyone from the company ask to talk to the union at the hall well the plant manager tanksley jenkins majors and a few other came ove addressed the committeman took questions stated there case never thought i would see that they looked like they were in the principals office on enemy territory. but they answered the questions stated the facts we will get the 415 and be in line for the 11 escape. this is the chance like it or not want a job for 2 years or 5 plus. product or no product 3 plants are not on the colateral list ward told us louisville ohio van and wayne that means they are not long term assets. the international fucked us when they started this coa so now its ever plant for itself especialy if your not in michigan and the international wants you . wayne is one of there babies so stand up then bull up give the international what they want a no from kansas city so they can tell ford hey they dont care but here at wayne we do give us the escape after 2010 . did they take money from your pocket no did they fuck the deadbeats yes if your trades you took a hit on area overtime but its not totally fatal. did they keep the stock jobs yes clean up yes till o7 contract make the international do the dirty work is it the best deal no but it is liveable or local did not roll over like 600 did and agree to shit and not know what they agreed to or immediately outsourcing jobs to 3rd parties. read the handout talk to you committeman go to the meeting sunday but dont bull up and give the international what they want its a damn shame when the international wants your product and does not care how they get it the start of the coa's ive read detroits and ours read them both there different night and day different has the local been hard to explain this yes but at least the local made the international do there jobs in 07 instead of doing it for them. and they fucked the non showing medical deadbeats. and by the way no records will be cleaned before this might take effect you go in with what you got you made your bed you lie in it. hoorah so dont judge before you get the facts
  22. why so negative well lets see how many welders do they cover when they take a day off none there on medical none they borrow from another area or it gets passed to another shift. thats how i know we wont be getting any new welders thats fact company is already going without them is it right hell no but with that future coa that detroit truck fucked everyone on thats the future. also millwrights dont want to weld but a lot of them came from the outside and want to. some will be good some bad but we have some welders that i wouldn't trust them to weld shit. but we have some that are some of the best damn welders i have ever seen. this comes down to the company not managing and dismissing non qualified people. thats the truth. they want a 15% reduction in trades so get ready. plus we have 2 welders in union jobs that means we have extra . thats fact not being negative how is saying the truth negative trades are a necessary evil to ford and if you dont protect your job then ford thinks they can do without you even if cost them twice as much in the long run. and as to the coa it will be coming by the end of the year or right after the first bank on it.
  23. okay if you believe that there replacing one for one then you did not look at the jan list 1 toolmaker gone no replacement. some trades are not getting replacements due to the fact apprentices are already on course, 9 millwrights aprentices so there already here for open spots but 2 did sign up for buyouts. Plus figuring that people sign up and dont go there is a redced amount. they want a reduction in trades not an increase as to welders millwrights wil be doing there own non certified welding so that means no more welders coming. as to the coa its not done so what ever your reading ain't the final deal. this buyout is company wide not just to get a spot but to cut heads also. there are 3 millwrights left waiting to come from st louis i was told so we will se if they get here like i said people back out from leaving so out of 17 millwrights i bet you get maybe 6 to 8 to go. that the truth folks!!! no milwright in january
  24. they want a health assessment on the equipment to know how much money it wll cost to upgrade or be up to date the union knows about it detroit wont take kcap word on how much future repair it will need so they pay an outside contractor to come in evaluate the machinery stupid when the guys who work on it could tell you better but they have never been smart. one hand does not trust the other to do things sond familiar they call it a health assessment.
