  1. Carl is a good guy, he told me he was staying in the St'Louis area because his wife had a god job and it was his turn, to change jobs, since she had done it for him. I hope only the best for him and his. :shades:
  2. I do not know if there are 1000 temps here at KCAP, but to all those that choice to come Welcome and lets build some world class vehicles. :shades:
  3. Let's all give thanks to those in harms way now. I thank those brave people everyday, and I am a vet. Lets find a way to disagree, and give those in harms way thanks. :shades: :shades:
  4. Tear it down the sight of it makes me sad. Good to see you posting again my brother. :shades:
  5. I hope the H.R. person who sent the letter is fired for such a slap in the face to veterans of this country. Ford is not going to recognize Veterans and their families. This could be a P.R. nightmare for Ford. :shades:
  6. Today is a day for all who have labored to make a better life for themselves, and their family to give thanks to all our brothers and sisters. To you my brother we wish you much success in all your life. :shades:
  7. Enough of the negative. we all understand that awards or articles will not ensure our future. There are a lot of people here at KCAP that came from plants with plenty of awards for quality and cost. We know that tomorrow is not promised to anyone. This is how ever a step in the right direction, and something to build on. Your continue reminder of the past is helpful only to a certain extent, then becomes negative. I and a whole lot of other orphans at KCAP are doing everything we can to improve our future. We thank-you for the words of wisdom. We too hope KCAP does better, along with brothers from Edison, Slap, AAP, Tcap, and some parts plants. We our trying to build our future, and maybe yours. :shades: :shades:
  8. Brad you are a good person do not forget that. Never forget that you are a hard worker and sooner than later that will pay-off. you have played the cards dealt you with class. Never give -up the faith. :shades: :shades:
  9. There are alot of people calling KCAP home that are giving everything they have to make our products the best in class, you have not seen anything yet. We are going to build it better and for less cost than before, we will not settle for less. :shades:
  10. SLAP went out very quiet, was just very another day, except once the last unit went past your station you went to a area and turned in your badge and that was that. No bullshit, no one damaged a single unit. VERY PROUD of the people at SLAP showed alot of class. JUST very sad day.
  11. Your whole post sounds bitter to me, but I have been wrong before. We too had those looking to salvage what they could, but after the announcement of the plant closing no more launch people, their area was cleaned out ,no more computers, no process flow charts no nothing. The people I saw were looking to fit something on the carrier not use it somewhere else. That is the only fact I know. :shades:
  12. you sound bitter, I hope what you say is not true. I will continue to build the best product that I can, and hopefully brighter days are ahead. I wish you the best my brother. :shades: I came from Slap so I know a little about plant closings. Good luck :shades:
  13. Hey man I saw some people measuring our I.P. carriers on the suv side today. I swear they look like some of the Lincoln launch people I met in ST' Louis when we did the big Aviator launch. Have you heard of us getting another product? I seen them again today on the I.P. line looking at paper work and the carriers? Can we build the edge along with the escape? or the ranger with a frame line added. Just curious if you have heard anything? :shades:
  14. I think he is from KTP, they are getting ready for their COA vote. :shades:
  15. Welcome to the great state of Missouri, I came here from Slap last year. The people are real nice, and work real hard. Hope you have a great transition to the KCAP family, lets build our future. If you have any more questions ask away, alot of good people out here that will help all we can. :shades: Once again Welcome to KCAP. :happy feet:
  16. Glad to see your still in the game, hope you and your family have a great Easter holiday. :shades:
  17. We have temps at KCAP. Do not know how many, but they are bringing more in on monday. I would assume that they will be displaced once the plant closings and transfers begin again. When that will be is at best a guess. I also heard that commercial (F150) side might go to 4 tens until the need for more production or the launch of the 09. :shades:
  18. I disagree about the quality of the suv rolling out of K.C. We have had a few vendor issues, but generally speaking the 08 is a great vehicle. I hope you are wrong about the escape going to Mexico. We are trying to build our future in K.C. maybe you should join the party and get off the sidelines talking crap. :shades:
  19. No one knows the future, but we are trying to build some world class vehicles at KCAP. We are literally building our future. Hope the move goes smoothly for you and welcome to you and your family. :shades:
  20. I came from SLAP during the summer. The people here are great, I believe it takes about 10-11 years to hold days on the SUV side. Good luck on your move. :shades: Not sure about the F-150 side or (Commercial) as they call it here.
  21. You tell them how it is :shades: . Started my relief route this week, :shades: very cool to be back in the groove. Learned 7 jobs in 4-days(was ready day 3, but milked a day) blew their minds. Good to see you still read the thread, hoping to get to your area soon.
  22. What is up my brother, good to see you got a good job, I am still waiting for mine. Should have bid. take it easy :shades:
  23. You tell them Dave, I knew this thread was bull. You keep taking care of business. :shades:
