Well I sell some stuff for the Contour SVT. But as performance goes, most are going with the 3.0L swap from the Taurus or Escape. I have customers driving around in Turbo 3.0L with 350+ HP in them. That button could be for the "Ambient Lighting" package like the current model.

Those are special lug nuts for 5th wheel type of testing equipment. They can get braking and acceleration figures from them. That's my guess.

An AWD would be just fine for what it would be used for. They could make it RWD bias so it feels like RWD. They mentioned a new F100 coming out in 2010, this would sell to the people that don't need a "real" truck but need a bed. Like me, I may need some lumber or cart around some bikes and things like that. But I have no need to tow a trailer, horses, or anything that large.

I was over at the AT&T store to switch my cell phones. I was told that Ford Employees got a FAN # that would entitle them to 20% off there monthly services. Does anyone know anything about his? I agree with most of you, Ford should build this now and have it come out at the same time as the Flex. Call it Ranger or Ranchero, ride a little higher and not much more. I mean, this thing is awesome looking. This would be a great replacement for my former 89 Ranger. That chassis already has AWD and a very nice 3.5 V6 that should get some nice mileage. Bring over one of those small diesel I4's from Europe and your all set. BUILD IT!!!
