  1. try ie pro for ie 7. It is a little browser add on with many features.
  2. And that is the whole problem with name Fiesta...cheapo econobox name associated with Festiva. But it does fit into the common Ford name confusion that is all over Ford division vehicles. Freestar-Freestyle, Supercab-supercrew-SuperDuty, Focus-Fusion. F-150 with Ranger trimline later to become Ranger compact truck. Ranger Edge trimline to later become Edge crossover. Shelby Mustang GT not to be confused with Shelby Cobra GT500. I personally liked Verve but what do I know. Just another name that has to be reintroduced. Forgot one...Five Hundred renamed Taurus...that was a hit!
  3. Maybe the car was not made with you in mind. Go and find a nice two door Camry...that market seems to work really well.
  4. I am not trying to burn you, just trying to understand you. What is the hate with the Mustang when you drive a Panther with a solid rear axle and have no issues with that setup?
  5. You are not one to reply Mr. Grandpa car owner.
  6. I don't want or need a IRS rear suspension. Unlike you, I bought the 07 Mustang...will you buy a Mustang if it has an IRS with the associated weight penalty? Have you driven a new generation Mustang? Handles great...solid rear axle and all. That cruedness is part of what makes a Mustang a Mustang. If you take all the little subtle issuse out of the car, then it just becomes another appliance with no soul. If I want to tune the car for maximum performance, I am glad that I don't have to worry about the reliablity of the IRS.
  7. I would like to see a regular cab truck with the new longer doors, any pictures of that anywhere?
  8. I agree. Also, a lot better post than all those smilies that you have been posting. Were you wanting two stars under you name or what was up with that?
  9. Only a real Bronco though, not a FWD wannabe. I have no problem with the Bronco concept only that the name be changed to something else.
  10. If that is a production interior, they just screwed up what could have been a great car. No doubt it will be fast and a lot of the GM loyals will buy it but MAN!!!
  11. Way too many inferior trucks that will soon give Toyota a bad name.
  12. I just hope that a concept will not again be released and a production version following three years later. Way too long of lead times from concepts to actual production vehicles.
  13. I think the real sleeper is the new Focus, it looks a lot better in person than when the pictures were first released...and sync is a big hit too.
  14. I agree, no one wants to own a station wagon or a minivan.
  15. I am glad the vehicle is this good that there only a few things that are bothersome to some people. The thing that annoys me the most is the procedure you have to use to open the rear hatch on this as well as a new Expedition. You must have the button on the hatch pressed when you lift it or it will not unlatch. I liked the lever pull on the 07 Expedition better and on the Explorer. You can activate the lever and then readjust you hold for better leverage in lifting the hatch. Minor annoyance once you know the procedure but if you don't, then you will be just like the testers at the consumer magazine and think that it is too heavy to lift.
  16. Better than bringing up old names from the past like...Shelby Super Free
  17. I think that the reference to the lawsuit I was talking about is for the current SAAC club being sued by the snake of a man Carrol Shelby. That is the main reason I think that the top of the line mustang should be labeled SVT or FPV or anything other that a name that no longer has any real meaning. He would put the name Shelby on a Prius if it would line his bank account.
  18. The new Taurus is not like your Five Hundred, it works like the Fusion's. Open the drivers door and all the other doors unlock (thankfully)
  19. The thing that kept me from buying the SVO was, for one, lack of torque of the 4-cyl at lower rpm and the buzzy sound and price premium for said powerplant.
  20. I agree with all of your post. I disliked the autolock feature as it was before because of its insistance on the doors always being locked, even if you pushed the unlock. Now it is a much better compromise on the Fusion where that when you open the drivers door, all the other doors unlock. That, to me, is a good compromise.
  21. And by the way, could I have a copy of your W-2? How about your credit card statements as well as your wifes income? Any dependents? What do you do for entertainment? Republican or Democrat? Why? You see I am curious...sarcasm aside now. Why does everyone think they have a right to know automobile dealers business? Just amazing to me what information is out there concerning the auto dealers but when i go to a furniture store, no information available.
  22. Hey, I remember that! I also remember the Mark VIII grill that you could squeeze with your fingers and it would flex back to its original shape.
