What would the basis of this lawsuit be?

It’s interesting that you say that because I have had a number of friends who know I’m a Ford fan ask me about it after seeing pics of it, saying they like it. So you may thinks old looking, but there will be people that like it. I personally don’t think it would confuse anyone as it does not resemble any of those vehicles. That’s what your marketing department is for. Hyundai seems to manage similar vehicles in the same market segments, so I don’t see why Ford couldn’t. In respect to your comment, isn’t that basically what the 4Runner is? An old design that people still buy. The work is already done in the Everest, so incremental sales could be acceptable.

Which is why it would be great if they would bring the Everest here to compete with the 4Runner. Seems like it would be a no brainer since it’s a platform mate and there’s room in the lineup for it.

Ford sure is looking at a limited lineup of vehicles for sale soon. Looks like they are going back to you can have any color you want as long as it’s black, metaphorically speaking anyway.

i understand your perspective, but for me, I just don’t see it. I would not cross shop these vehicles, because a vehicle with removable parts has considerations that a vehicle without does not. The new Land Cruiser does look pretty good, especially for a Toyota, so I’m with you on the design cues from the 4Runner.

I don’t know why the forerunner is referred to as a direct competitor to the bronco. Yes, they are both off-road vehicles, but the forerunner doesn’t have a removable top or doors so to me, they don’t compare.

Speaking of sound, the biggest thing I disliked about my Gen2 raptor was its sound. The truck was really good in every way except for that. Now with my Gen3 with the same motor, I can’t say that anymore. Don’t misunderstand, I would much prefer to have a raptor R for the power and sound, but at that price point it probably isn’t happening anytime soon. I would dare to say that Ford has managed to make the V6 sound good, and I’m more than content with the base motor. Based on my experience with the Gen3, I imagine they probably could find a way to make the four-cylinder sound significantly better if they wanted to.

It has to be a contributing factor. They are nice vehicles, but the cost goes way up when you start adding options, which is why I would consider a used model over new now.

I think the primary expectation of a Mustang is it should have a V8 and its corresponding sound with respect to the muscle car history even though there have been four and six cylinder versions in the past. With that said the Eco is a great engine with excellent performance that would likely be respected if it were in anything other than a Mustang. My 22 year old son scoffs at the 4 cylinders even though they offer a lot of bang for the buck.

I think a hybrid and AWD options would really broaden the appeal of the Mustang, particularly AWD. I think there is a fair amount of apprehension in the cold belt for purchasing a rear wheel drive vehicle for a primary vehicle. I would really like to see a mid-engine mustang variant that competes with the C8. Something that is in the same price range as the C8, so an average person may be able to afford it.

That’s what I was figuring as well. They are built in South Korea if my memory serves me correctly. I would really like to know what the profit margin is on these models. I’ve seen this on a number vehicles, and it is a poor idea IMO. It can be difficult to see in tight traffic. The Koreans seem to like that concept.

I’ve been seeing ads for this vehicle recently, didn’t recall any discussion about it. I personally find it to be a very attractive SUV. After looking it up I was shocked to see its starting price to be $23,495, considering how it looks. The only thing that I found to be disappointing was the single motor option being a max 136 hp 3 cylinder. Considering they make an ST version of this vehicle, it would’ve been nice if they had a second motor option with a little more “sport” in it. Give me a break! I’ve NEVER had my range cut in half due to cold on any ICE vehicle I have had, unlike my Mach E I have been driving. I’’m not an EV hater, but perhaps it’s you who should stop with the misinformation.

What is not misinformation is your range being cut in half in cold conditions. That is a fact based on my personal experience, and it sucks.

Wow, I wasn’t sure Hyundai styling could get any worse. I’m getting some Mitsubishi vibes (not a compliment) with those ugly ass big lights in the lower corners of the front fascia. I’m also not a fan of the stacked pixel looking lights. Just horrible.

I’m glad someone does.

I am hoping for the new expedition. I like the Mustang but I really hope it’s not some Mustang variant.

There’s nothing particularly interesting about this vehicle. It pretty much reminds me of Wagoneer aside from the obvious concept vehicle type of features.

They probably could skip the supercab if they added a 6’ bed option to the crewcab version. I would anticipate that’s one of the main appeals of the supercab.

The new Kia design language did not translate well to this smaller class of vehicle. This vehicle is unattractive to me.
