  1. Ok, thanks. I did sign up recently on the Lincoln site for e-mail information and notifications for MKC, and checked the 1-3 month purchase box.
  2. Hello all, I just participated in the Lincoln Date Night Program, with an MKC for the day. I absolutely loved it, and am now considering getting one. I realize that I got to drive one for a day for free, and got a $100 gift card too, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Lincoln will send me any other kind of incentive to buy one? Maybe like an extra rebate? I would hate to buy one, and then all of the sudden they send me something after the fact because I didn't wait long enough. Thanks.
  3. I saw one in NE Ohio, if that isn't too far for you. 2011 MKZ AWD Sterling Gray, Rapid Spec 100A, Power Moonroof and Sport Appearance Package are the only options, MSRP $39,840. This was through an internet search, so you would have to call to make sure the car has not been sold. Let me know if you are interested and I will get you the contact info.
  4. There was a Black Diamond edition Lincoln Mark IV back in the mid 1970's.
  5. I lease a 2008 Spot Trac Limited and just love it. I have about 15,000 miles on it now with no problems. My lease is up June 2010 and I plan to either purchase this one at the end, or buy/lease another one.
  6. If you have the time and patience you can search online yourself. Go to mercuryvehicles.com and click on Find a Dealer in the upper right corner. From there you can enter a zip code, (you can get those from the USPS website), or City and State to find dealers in that area. You will get a list of dealers, up to a 50 mile radius, and then you can check their inventory. I have done this before, but it is time consuming.
  7. I own a 2005 Freestyle with about 50,000 miles on it, and it has been very reliable. The biggest issue we have had with the vehicle is with the second row 60/40 bench seat. The "60" part of the seat has had its flip and fold mechanism replaced twice so far. The "40" side is the one that is used all the time, and we have not had any problems with it. I believe the big concern with the CVT transmission is that if anything ever goes wrong with it, it is very expensive to fix. You might try checking out the Freestyle/Taurus X forum here for more info: http://www.myfordfreestyle.com/index.php
  8. I agree on the Sport Trac. I recently turned in my leased '06 F-150 SuperCab for an '08 Sport Trac, Limited, 4x4. So far I have about 2,000 flawless miles on it.
  9. I also have the 3 passenger 60/40 bench in the middle row. Under the middle of that seat is a plastic cover on the floor. I am assuming that this is where the console would go if I had it. There is a metal bracket there that the plastic cover is screwed to. If your dealer has a Freestyle with the bench second row, flip the "60" portion of it and check it out.
  10. Here is an article about where the last Taurus built will be going. http://www.thestate.com/mld/thestate/business/15817087.htm
  11. With seven passenger seating it sounds more like a distant cousin to the Ford Freestyle.
