i think that GM FORD AND FITSLER will combine to share the same basic rear wheel drive platform. I also think that the 2014 or 2018 pony cars will have 150-200mpg via a rubber band engine that winds up and can slowly release the power to individualized motors at each wheel. each motor will have about 25 hp as the platform will only now seat 1 and be made out of carbon fiber including the engine rubber bands. Also GM will become the worlds smallest standard of luxury as Caddy will pull back only into the usa and only in the mid west and bible belt editions of Caddys will be made with custom paint jobs.

looks too much like the caddy 16 concept from a few years ago. i think its about time that ford does the homer car from powell motors as its flagship towncar replacement.

i like the design but Ford needs to turn lincon into a rear drive only BMW fighter on the cheap likke 20k less then a bmw. If Ford only does FWD then just close down Lincoln and shoot it in its head! No one ever wrote a song about a FWD Lincoln now did they?

my uncle who worked for ford said that mercury was more upscale and had better materials then ford. But now ford is more upscale and lets face it, mercury are just warmed up fords with small changes to the design even the lincolns are too similar to fords mks, mkt, towncar, mkr

r autoblog yesterday had spy pics of the new ford t9 ranger that might be for the USA we are not sure if it will be called ranger or f100 or something else like T9. when i posted that pony cars would be banned in ten years you laughed! Well look now we have a leftest illegal non born president who is raising the cafe standard when we need to repeal it. The supreme overlord Obama wants even highway trucks to have cafe standards. They wont directly outlaw pony cars but will do so by stating certain critia that autos must get like 50 mpg 100mpg safety standards. Also we now see that the big v8 is a thing of the past, we see v8 being replaced with v6 (some turbo) and v6 being replaced with i-4 (some turbo) and they charge extra since they are more fuel efficient (see ford echo boost).

for the big b-day i would like the new model to be a retro edition of the Mustang II from the 1970's. I always loved that look.

these cars look too much alike the use swuare windshields, have retengle wiper blades, have seats....

i4 echooboost and v6 echoboost and supercharged as well.... i would go to the future not the past, i would not keep one cue from the past, even the backward horse. I would make it like a small 2 seater and a 4 seater and a wagon model like a whole range of mustangs even a division named mustang to replace mercury...

i loved the bronco and bronco II. However they are a relic of the past with high gas prices and all. I think ford will not build it and how many fj are toyota building? i hardly see them anymore. I think ford may drop the explorer after it goes d3 front wheel drive... i give it two years tops. I think ford will go cross over crazy.... a mustang crossover anyone? hot rod mag did one a while ago.

i loved also the mustang II i wish the next one would be based off the design, so sexy... i would name my kids after it.... and ford should also re-consider a full range mustange, 4 door, stationwagon and all, and cross over and small truck

the new taurus is better then fiat 300c or charger. it is all wheel drive. all wheel drive is the future..... i can wait for 4wd with the sho and use low range.....

thats alls bs... gm has developed a fleet of buick lesabres that dont need a lead car, just uses road sensors and sensors to detect the cars around you. also insurance should be apart of the purchase price of any new or used car, the state will then let you basic insurance and if you want more you purchase an additional coverage above what the state has.... that way all people have car insurance....

instead of the president using a limo that does not get the gas millage that obama is wanting, why does he not use a hybrid regular car like the Escape he bought? He would be showing that he is a man of the people, and not some rich fat cat that gets driven in a limo..... The presidential limo should be retired and replaced with a ford escape or toyota prius.

i still think mercury should be renamed Pinto and have only RWD small and mid sized cars with hybrid and alternate power sources.... and do a modern pinto....

what is so outdated on this proven platform that is only a few years old. ford refreshed the panther platform a few years ago... all new.... i saw if it is not broken why fix it.... ford is going to give up limo for a taurus/500? why not make the taurus rwd and bigger then the current panthers ecen with a w16 engine from vw.....

lets just have ford do a retro modern pinto as a bmw 3 series challenger and lincoln can take on mercedes and mercury can take on porsche

the new 2011 explorer has no balls, come on fwd! no real 4wd with low range! Bronco, Bronco II, and Explorer RWD are all rolling in their graves! Whats next all men being forced to drive small ecno boxes from Prog?

what is wrong with side tail pipes? The dodge viper luxuary car has them. Also optional trucker stacks might work as well with a ram air hood... Also a v12 with 45,000 hp will do just fine. Also f350 truck tires will be good an a front window that turns into a tv screen when playing a movie is good....

The lesser engine will be the optional engine billed as a fuel saver model also i like the mustang iii name and the bronco iii name as well.
