  1. Chill MeeLaan Premium rated, but able to use regular, just like the Toyota. It just wont be running that much HP on the 87 stuff.
  2. And Here is the one I found MotorTrend I guess the difference is you dont want to get the XR obviously
  3. I copied that directly from MotorTrend, It was the first one Google brought up
  4. eddie, You had me going, I had to look it up, almost got me on that one
  5. I hope that Grand Am era cladding is just camo.
  6. Isnt this also the only month it has outsold the Milan?
  7. Isnt the Toy Rav4 a midsize? I mean , I know it is still classed as a mini, but , with the 3 rd row and all, ist it as big as an Edge or a Murano? I think when people are shopping, this would be a competitor to an Edge Just asking
  8. I would be interested in the number of manuals being sold by Honda and Nissan, My guess would be they are both low, but percentage wise, more Altimas than Accords would have a manual. I can only compare to the Fusion Manual vs Auto in the 4 cyl class where a manual seems to make much more sense (paired to a 4 cyl) Even then, the % seems low. I know it ws hard to find one.
  9. Its hard to find a lease that will accept that I drive about 30K miles per year
  10. I am not disagreeing with the business model. Obviously Toyota has come to the same conclusion. But I would still rather have a manual myself. I wasn't aware that different Xmissions required independent crash tests. I figure , when sales start to slip a bit, Ford will introduce a "Special Edition" ALA Every other Mustang and will slip in a manual or something just to generate interest.
  11. I agree and it seems like a simple thing since Mazda has a straight gear that in theory, should be an easy bolt in.
  12. I purchased a ZX5, SE with a manual, in 05, put right at 60K miles on it. I traded it last month on a Fusion, dealer gave me 9800.00 for it. Of course I know he "Really" didnt give me 9800.00 for a 2 year old Focus with 60K miles. But I researched the Fusion on line, We negotiated to 200.00 over KBB invoice, I took the financing, so didnt get the kickback. So Whatever he didnt give me for the Focus came out of whatever is left from actual invoice to KBB inv +200. My Focus was in average condition, needed tires badly. KBB was somewhere betwen 7500 and 8800. So I really cant complain too much
  13. Although , I myself prefer a manual, and I bought a manual (4 cyl) I think its a pretty big stretch to reason that the Accord outsells the Fusion because you can get a manual with the V6? This combination , although available, is not really popular. I would really like to see a manual in the V6 Fusion, but adding a manual to the V6 isnt going to bring sales numbers up to Accord territory.
  14. I've seen them office "girls" they could stand to lay off the cheese! Same theory. Buy a concert ticket for $50.00, stand outside venue and scalp it for $200.00, get arrested! Hmm,
  15. You would thik if the dealer is tacking on nearly 13K in markup, they could AT LEAST waive the damn doc fee.
  16. I could be wrong, but isnt the 300 and the Charger the same car with different sheet metal? How could one be a midsize and the other a full size?
  17. You got a premium price for your Vette. A nice 97 around here will get about 15 or 16 , but it had better be real nice. Also, Its hard to find a bone stock Mustang that is 10 years old. I am not knocking the Vette, % wise it does pretty good, I will give you that. However, you cant look just at %. If you take your numbers, that means you lost 2 G a year. If you bought Mustang 6 cyl coupe in 97 the sticker would been about 15K If you sold it today, you could get probably 4 or maybe 5K, So that's only a depreciation of 1K /year in real money
  18. But isnt this a common issue with all manufacturers? Isn't a loaded Civic as much as a base Accord? I dont know this for fact, but it seems so. In any case, I dont think price alone will dictate what someone will buy. I would rather have a loaded Fusion, than a stripper 500. I normally find a car I like, then add the options I want. I may be in the minority here, its just an opinion.
  19. A wagon with a manual, not there's a broad demographic.
  20. I guess the point is now moot. I just read on the Fusion forum that the 3.5 will be a late availability option on the 08 Milan. I havent seen the Milan order form myself, so this may not be accurate
  21. What does the location of the plant have to do with the design of the exhaust hanger? Talk about cheap shots.
  22. According to their reporst Jan +1 Feb - 8 March -5 April +2
