Yes, I'm pretty sure they did a manual hand paint job on those cars. Not like the GT went down the production line either.

Unless you know some people within Ford, a priority 10 is the best you can do and frankly it is a great priority to have. The dealer needs allocation.. if they have allocation, then it will be built in order of priority just like Akirby said and then in order of order date. If the dealer does not have allocation, it will be delayed until there is some. Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe allocation is given each month, not each week even though builds are scheduled week by week.

Unless of course your vehicles are built with a Priority 1 heheheh

^ I agree, I have never had a problem in my Superduty in the 2 1/2 years I've had it. Even in the Explorer it has been pretty good. I've yet to try it in hers using the same address but many of her commands the system was just plain stupid. I question if the APIM got fried because I had changed the battery out a couple days ago and when loosening the negative, it was making/losing contact many times till I could pull it off. Headlights were flickering (HIDs) many times.

So my wife took a video yesterday of her frustrations with MFT 3.8.. this is the first time I've seen it like this but oh boy was I in hysterics watching this..... It wasn't just software, there were MANY bad APIMS that failed and needed replacement. Since 3.6.2, it had become very stable with the next 2 versions being even better. I've had zero issues with my 15 f350 platinum and no issues with my 11 Explorer since the updates. Just another lawsuit where the lawyers get rich and the people who join get peanuts.

It is not a matter of providing better customer service. Unfortunately once Ford releases the vehicle, they really have zero control over the vehicle. It is all in the hands of the shipping company per the contract. A friend of mine had his vehicle delayed on purpose by John cooper for several weeks and Ford couldn't do anything about it.

It really does drive me nuts when Ford tries to save pennies and go with the cheapest supplier out there over quality. Way too many defects put there. Shit, I just had my EPAS fail on my 11 Explorer that Ford had a recall on (extended warranty on it for 10yr 150k one time replacement). Now why would they only offer a 1 time replacement? Because they know there were bad batches out there... Well 2 years after the recall/ warranty extension mine failed. Was at dealer 3 days to have it replaced. Got it back, drove 22 miles and the 2nd one failed... at dealer for 6 days to have it replaced again and just picked it up today. Now I see the 2010 edge is being looked at for EPAS failures and there are 13-15 model explorer with EPAS failures that if they are over 36k, Ford is sticking the customers with with a $1,500 repair. Ford is better then this and these things really piss me off. 5 years later and they are still having failures!! Between EPAS and PTU failures, I am getting rid of it soon... 6 months left of my ESP.. just ordered a 17 Edge Sport.

^ yes they are using SAE starting with the 17. To add to that, GM announced their 17 Duramax with a 910ft lb. So they are more like bottom of the barrel class losing.
