  1. All of a sudden, my old Android 7 will not load FordPass. The Ford website still say's requires 7.0 or newer, anyone else seeing a problem? HRG
  2. so my '23 has been at the dealer for over a week now, trying to address a problem with the trailer wiring circuit(s). There is no output for the running/tail lights, dealer has verified my concern, it's not something as simple as a fuse. Brake/turn signal lights work fine. They keep using the term "mis-built", they have been in contact with Engineering, and have been given directions on how to proceed, but so far, nada. Anyone have access to real fresh TSB releases, nothing turns up on the web. This is not the prior trailer brake controller issue, this is something new. I've heard of others with the same problem, so maybe not a 1-off issue. Thanks, HRG
  3. Agreed. When I did my install 3 years ago, adding a secondary panel for the "critical" circuits was the cleanest way to accomplish it. HRG
  4. Being an injection-molded part, I'm sure there are multiple tooling and component suppliers, the ROW tools are simply different than the ones that may supply MAP. HRG
  5. Appears his Ford/Ranger experience was a long time ago,,,, HRG
  6. R6G is now reporting Job 1 to be July 10th, 2023, pushed from May 1,,,,, HRG
  7. I'm hoping they didn't lose the foot-step behind the rear tires, and this one just has a panel over the cutout. HRG
  8. At this rate I guess I won't have to worry about using (2) of my Brothers' Z-plan PIN's in the same (2023) year,,,,, HRG
  9. Of course, the possibility exists that Lincoln could offer a similar program as GM and provide the electrical upgrade at N/C, when the time comes for a full BEV. In that case, he spent $$$ he didn't need to, at this time. https://www.chevrolet.com/electric/living-electric/home-charging HRG
  10. It's too bad the dealer didn't offer you a choice of the Webasto TurboDX 240V 16amp charger, it would have used your existing wiring & 20amp breaker, and been a lot less expensive retrofit for your garage. https://www.evsolutions.com/Upload/Product/637473364011828622.pdf HRG
  11. Look here: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/?-2023-maverick-pricing-msrp-invoice-options-released-including-new-black-appearance-package.20248/ HRG
  12. RedHoncho, Thank you for the clarification. I suspected that you had to make the jump up to the 40amp service to support the 14-50 socket. I find it interesting that you have a "travel" cord, as when I was pulling some circuits into my garage, even though I don't have a EV or PHEV, I installed a dedicated 14-50 circuit for any friends or family that may visit, and need to "top off". HRG
  13. According to Lincoln, the 240V 6-20 socket is required due to the system requiring a 16amp draw. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time somebody swapped to a 20-amp socket and breaker, keeping the #14 wiring,,,,, HRG
  14. When I was trying to buy that cord last year, it was a dual voltage 120V (Nema 5-15) or 240V (Nema 6-20). The current dual voltage cord I now see uses a Nema 14-50 for the 240V, with an adapter for a 120V 5-15 socket. https://store.evsolutions.com/webasto-go---dual-voltage-portable-cordset-p124.aspx I'll be curious to see if he had to upgrade to the 14-50 socket, so they had to upgrade service from 20 amp to 50 amp. HRG
  15. Instaset? Also a supplier to GM. https://gmauthority.com/blog/2022/10/gm-plastics-supplier-files-for-bankruptcy-in-michigan/ “In late 2021, debtor was unsuccessful in its customer requests for price increases in order to defray the impact of increased costs of labor and raw materials,” the filing said. “The cumulative effect of labor and supply chain shortages along with increases in raw material costs has burdened [Instaset] with substantial debt and no adequate means to generate revenue sufficient to continue to meet customer requirements.” HRG
  16. I had to chuckle when you mentioned the railcar loaders. I live near the UP Auto Yard in West Chicago IL, and when they unload trains from the left side (North) of the tracks, they have to drive the vehicles over a bridge to bring them into the main yard. For some reason, Security finds it necessary to block the exit road, so the drivers don't take off with a new car,,,,, HRG
  17. Yeah, I saw that. I'd be more prone to believe the Order Guide, that area of the Towing Guide is an exact carry-over from the '22 version. HRG
  18. I have to wonder if one of the biggest differences between the late-60's and now is the tires. Probably not fair to compare F-70/14 Poly-glas bias ply's to today's Pilot Sports,,,, https://www.caranddriver.com/features/g15105913/ford-mustang-gt-0-60-times/ HRG
  19. If you compare the 2022 and 2023 Order Guides, there is no longer a SRW option to get a 3" receiver. HRG

  21. Just so you know, Zeilger Ford can still provide "new coverage" extended warranties within a 41 month/36,000 timeframe from date of entering warranty coverage, I just added one to my 2019 Edge with 1 day to spare. https://www.zeiglerfordesp.com/warranty_plans/default.aspx?plan_id=2053 HRG
  22. Except the explanation only mentions the benefits, glossing over the cost to taxpayers in the County. Without a ROI statement, it's 1-sided. HRG
