Having the mercury mariner 203A for the past two months has been a blast. However when turning the steering wheel in the direction right, you can hear a clunk, tin noise. You also can feel it in the steering wheel. The Indexing is off a little bit, but it doesn't pull either direction when driving, jst have annoying CLUNK when turning right! Dealer has had it several times, and first it was going to replace the BOX, then I guess FORD said no first do some screws, then they suggested to do a shaft of some sort, and now they decided to allow the dealer to get this "box" that they said from the get go and hopefully it will correct it. Instead of having the vehicle sit at the dealer over the weekend and drive a Milan I told them is it a safety issue that I cant drive it? They said THERE WAS NO safety issue so they put it back together and I have it for the weekend! My dealer has been great because they have given me a dealer car while the mariner was in but my back was killing me as the seats in the Milan hurt my back!! So any thoughts on this steering wheel issue? I have thought several times that I should drive it up to PDC and tell them I want a new Unit...

Overload, exceed normal weight on tires.... there is no cause to sue FORD.... the driver was negligent since there was only 7 belts, and the driver chose to have 11.... the driver needs a mental eval...

Because they are based out of COS and they are SO STUPID!

Uhm where is there a moderator when one is needed, and ONLY do you wish you knew who I was, you would have a much different tone. There was no reason for them taking offline tickets registration. SO asswipe you say that while FORD will allow me to save $13,581 on a new expedition, but FERA cant manage to keep NAIAS straight? That its my fault, well you can shove your own foot up your arse!

Well i thought the first response was a bit ignorances, well this one tops the cake.. Well newsflash we can order on line from FERA last year and there was NO cut off time, so why in the hell was the cutoff time on JAN 1.. the show wasn't event started yet! Futhermore FERA emailed me two days ago and their response was just to stop by WHQ and pick them up! Well thats dumb as there was no fuuuuuuking reason to close the on line process on JAN 1, and at this rate Ill pay the full price for the tickets and I will see a LL6 or better working the show and I will give him the receipt and he can reimburse me. I'M not one to complain but when they want the most people to attend on the behalf of their company you would think they would do everything they can to make that happened! If I happen to meet with Bill again this year, I will let him have it about this, cause next year FERA will not be playing this game!

Because FORD took away the online ticket thing as of JAN 1ST!!!! Thats why IM pissed!

Okay ford managers and I know you read this. Why in the hell not allow employees and retirees the option of buying NAIAS tickets on line from FERA or from the employees web site? OH yeah I forgot to mention it WAS allowed until JAN 1 but because I waited to find out how many of the family actually wanted to go, Well boo hoo just come up to the towers and get your six tickets, per the email I received from FERA yesterday. But a situation out of my control forces me to stick around Cleveland until Late Friday AND our family is planning on going to the NAIAS on Saturday! So it looks like I might just have to pay the 18 bucks surcharge. Rest assured next year, I will only get two tickets so I can order them before the JAN 1 deadline and the heck with the rest of my family. --Rant off!!!

Well Ford has done it once again, they stopped as of JAN 1 of this year of allowing us to order tickets and get them mailed to us! Well it would be no big deal, but I'm stuck down here in Cleveland until late tomorrow (Friday) so and plan on going to the show on Saturday and when does FORD think I can get to the tower and get 6 tickets? Sure I can order them on line directly from NAIAS but why pay an extra 3 bucks for a ticket? If anyone has a solution, please PM ASAP Thanks

Yeah we have 2 07 E350 15 and just got a new 2008 E350 15 and the driver must be certified before driving them! I am one of the lucky ones. I must say I have no quams about driving, just you need to stop earlier then normal... 12 people at 150 is 1800 lbs... Problem is some people are driving these vans like a sports car, or a 40 foot bus. They are the ones giving these vans a bad rap!

Im peeved now cause Im ready to buy tickets for NAIAS and I saw they were 9.50 a piece and had to order them in pairs, and well I cant find the link. I swear it was on the employee.ford web site but for the life of me I cant find it. Yeah I an paying 50 cents more to have them mailed, but hell If I have to ill go to the towers and get them!

Well I dont mean to take my post out on any of you, but IM quite pissed as to what was in the paper today, the monroe plant has been around for 30 plus years and now the city says dont pay the taxes as we just want you to gift the property to us! To hell with that, Monroe Officals can shove their words up their ARSE! So maybe the FORD/ACH deal will close the plant, that is our problem not city of Monroe. All these years they have benefited from every dollar the person paid in taxes and now they do something like this??? Who the heck do they think they are? --rant off----

MSP was one of the best plants out there, along with Monroe until it went out to Visteon, know people that have worked in the plants 30+ years to see that it has been handed off by FORD. Times a changing. I feel for those that have put the time in to see the plant vanish. Takes a lot of blood and sweat to make it work. Oh well..

All Plants have an issue in one fashion or another, I also have an Expedition coming off the line at MTP soon, when it hits the dealer and if there is something wrong, it will be sent back to the factory. better yet they can build me another. IS this likely going to happen, NO --I wouldnt be too concerned.
