  1. That's funny. The name is stupid as well. The K.I.T.T.Y.? Here KITTY, KITTY!!!!
  2. 2 years behind everybody else? You do have to remember the current truck is only 4 years old now, and the new version comes out soon, that's quick in the truck market. The 4 year old F-150 is still better than the BRAND NEW Tundra and Silverado. IMO, GM just caught up to this decade design-wise with their new trucks, the new F-150 will be out before the new Ram. Also, it's still the most capable half-ton there is. How's that 2 years behind? The 4 speed is gone for 09. 6-speeds will be standard on all models. The 5.4 has been reworked for launch and may have around 325-hp (rumored, not confirmed). Also w/ the new engines coming continually after launch, I think the truck will be fine.
  3. So she has the Vista roof right? LOL, just kidding.
  4. That's interesting. Our cars are 2004 models, so, it may not be that problem, just that they went out.
  5. I see what you're/he's saying now. Do you think he was referring to both vehicles or just one? If it were just one, I'd think he meant the Town Car (bottom). I'd have to come back at that by saying that picture is several years old now, and if I had updated it, it would have better proportions, and would look more like the Continental (top).
  6. See my post, post #40. Here it is, so you dont have to go find it. ----------------- Today, 04:47 AM Post #40 This thing looks GREAT! I like it a lot. I think it's a perfect update to the Explorer. I was considering an Edge/MKX or a Flex, but now this thing makes me wanna wait another year or so and look at one of these. With a nice interior (I'm thinking Expedition/Flex combo) and more production-friendly cues, I think this thing will be a home run, like the original Explorer was. On another note, it appears Ford looked everywhere in it's empire when designing this vehicle. To me the dash looks very similar to the Range Rover (big one), it has EXPLORER (notice the green X like the concept?) written on the hood like all Land Rover models. It has a similar rotary type knob to the XF's gear shifter (although Explorer's is for the GPS navigation system). Also it looks like Mulally/Boeing had a little influence in there, IMO. The ceiling lights look like airplane air vents to me. Overall, I think it's a great looking design. I can't wait to see: 1) this concept (hopefully it'll make it down here somehow) and 2) The production version. This post has been edited by rmc523: Today, 04:24 PM ----------------
  7. That's what I've been saying for a while now. People will pay for the best. How else would Rolls-Royce, BMW, etc. survive?
  8. Has Ford ever really not had their A-game on when it comes to SUVs?
  9. Well, that's a pretty cool warehouse, IMO. I'd be glad to help Ford empty it out if it gets too full, lol.
  10. Yes, that was the new F-150 to the left of it. Couldn't really see much more of it than we already know though.
  11. I understand completely. Sometimes I feel like walking away from a chop, I try not to though.
  12. The roofline is about all I see, maybe the rear as well.
  13. ....meanwhile in other news, Toyota announced a new advertising slogan today. Toyota Building overpriced vehicles for everybody. BTW, that Tundra sounds very appealing!!
  14. I've never heard of that, that is stupid. The driver continues to have the ability to operate ALL windows in ours (and I assume most vehicles).
  15. Well the way you all were talking, it sounded like that was a 'special feature' or something. I believe both our Expy and F-150 had the driver's window (only) switch burn out. We had them replaced. So, yes, I guess it's having that problem.
  16. Wow. What happened to the "old-fashioned" (now b/c of this thing) set off the car alarm trick? This thing seems like it'd be a waste of money. The only good thing about it, as you said, would be you could laugh at it by recording something funny on it.
  17. Either they're losing it or they're brainwashing everybody. There is actually subliminal messages in each Toyota ad. The most common message is 'All hail Toyota!!'
  18. The Sebring just looks cheap, period. Any picture I've ever seen of a Sebring makes it look cheap (which it obviously is). I'm interested to see what the "emergency fix" Chrysler is doing on it and the Avenger will produce.
  19. The engine Mark B. Morrow mentioned would be my rebuttal to your comment.
  20. Maybe when the next generation Focus (C2) comes here, we'll get diesel options?
  21. I know it's highly unlikely that we'll get that grille, especially with Town Car just moving over, I was just saying it looks nice.
