How did we go from MAP to the USPS?

This may have been discussed in an earlier thread, but, what does Ford plan to do with this plant? I'm sure this is going to be one of the main topics for contract discussions.

Yeah....I'm 18 I wanted to have my dad invest into the company HE WORKS FOR! Did he do it?! No. I could be sittin on something nice. He is saying sorry to this day.

i live by MAS.. i see that the outside is almost done with updates...but when does production begin for sales? i know they have ran pre-production for a few weeks now....?

My Father works at MAP. And we live right by there. They have been running the new focus through testing for some time now. =-) Cannot wait till it comes out.

Do you know what the production rate will be?

When will Production start at MAP. And with what product? and as of now, what products will be manufactured at the plant?

You never know. They could be announcing another new product that is going to be put i to the plant...or that they decided to combine WAP and MAP . or something like. just throwing that out there. My dad is a millwright in MAP and he's heard nothing

I heard that there will be 3,400 workers once th eplant is up and at full speed. So Im sure he will he will be able to Follow the product.

I live in the states and I was wondering, what is being produces at this plant? ANd do you think the Production will be shifted to a plant in teh USA or MExico?

lol ..not funny. I've lived in "D-TOILET" my whole life. Its nice. Even though we don't have as many jobs as we used to , people still try to keep up the area. May I ask where You live? Since your Stereotyping those counties.

Does anybody have information on when the plant will be opened up again and what products are going to be put into the plant. Is it just ganna be just the Focus? :reading:

lol. Im only 17. my Father works for fords and he was recently moved to WAP help wit the "shutting down". The once the new product comes into MAP he will go back. Now I watch the auto industry prob;y as much as you do. I knew that ford would gaine Share. Now but when does this good news go to far. Based upon the problem that if GM+ Crystler go out of business, that would put a huge strain on the suppliers. And eventually they would go out of business. But I do belive that The market share incress is a wonderful thing. And now that Ford has "thined" itself, we can now make vehicles in the USA. Witct means more jobs or no lose of jobs. Witch is good.
