  1. Everyone asking questions about the unknown.… relax.. Just order a truck. Get a build spot….there will be plenty of time to examine price, equipment, power ratings and change them before the truck is built. I simply told my salesman to pull the order on my 2020 Limited and duplicate it for my 23’ I changed from Star White to AZG. If there is something I want to add, there’s plenty of time..
  2. Testing and miles most likely wrapped up last year..
  3. It’s probably best that you haven’t read any discussions before your order. For every positive comment or opinion, there will 10 baseless negative opinions.. When it comes to the overwhelming negatively that follows, I chalk it up to “tell me you can’t afford the truck without telling me you can’t afford the truck.
  4. IC is correct as usual. Although it isn’t publicly released, it somehow makes it online.
  5. Thank You. I save that pick to remember my boy..Tigger. Yeah, my kids named him. Pure unconditional love and taught me a lot more than I taught him.
  6. IMO, do yourself a favor, order the F-350. The ride difference is unnoticeable..seriously, and you’ll get better resale to cover the cost difference which isn’t much. Center console can be installed after market if you want it. F-150 parts match up.
  7. I have heard that we may see the order guide Monday, the 24th.
  8. LOL, I guess both.. Never did I think it would take a year to receive an ordered vehicle, and NEVER did I think we were lucky enough to ever land a talent like Josh Allen..
  9. We live in a different time.. and a new normal we just can’t believe.
  10. I got two different PCOs on my 2020 totaling $3,500. All pure luck. Believe it or not, Ford left a PCO link live online for a few hours, and if you click on it and entered you name and address, you got a PCO. Weird, probably a mistake, but I was alerted by a friend and it worked.. Crazy, but that’s what happened.
  11. This is exactly what my dealer said.. They have a copy of my drivers license, obviously my email, and I will have to sign papers for the order to be accepted. I will have price protection and XPlan. The last early order I made that is similar to this situation was for my 2003 Lariat LE. I waited until the Job 2 changeover for the newly introduced 6.0 diesel. When the truck finally came in 6 months later, I paid full invoice upon delivery, and then received three separate checks from my dealer for over $1700 worth of price protection. There were three price increases during the gap from order to delivery. I would bet the same with the 2023, and probably in the realm of 2-3K in increases. IMO and experience, anyone looking to order a 2023 will be doing themselves a favor by acting fast. They are telling me 1 year. They are also telling me that production of high liners starts in April.. and anything can happen.
  12. Congratulations! Very exciting. I ordered my first new truck back in 1998. SOO excited…but it was an almost 20 week wait back then. On to my fifth ordered Ford SD.. Still exciting!
  13. My, how times have changed. I remember my first super duty order was in 1998 for a 1999 Lariat CCSWB with the 7.3L diesel. That was the top of the food chain then, and it listed for a whopping $38,400. LOL. I think invoice was somewhere around 34K. Seriously, that was rather expensive back then. Price is figured to what they feel the market will bear.. and obviously, it will bear a lot..
  14. All the above is true. None of us really know WTF will happen. The only positive thing we can do on this side of the deal is to get the ball potentially rolling. Get to your dealer and place an order with them, assuming they’ll process it on the 27th. After that, all control is out of our hands, and let the chips fall where they may. I should have paperwork to sign for price protection/custom order at the end of the month. We’ll know more about it then.
  15. You can order any trim you want on the 27th, but high line trim won’t be built until Job 2.
  16. IMO, if you want a 23…The best thing you can do today is to find a dealer with allotment to sell, agree on a price for the 23’ and place an order with them for the 27th order bank open. It gets you in line, and price protects your order…which we KNOW will probably see at least two increases before the truck is built. I ordered a 23’ 350 Limited at X plan, and will be price protected. I don’t want to give up my current truck even though the value is extremely high. I’m not expecting the new truck until summer of 23 at the earliest… We will re-visit trade value of my 2020 Limited when the new truck arrives.
  17. Opinions on the Azure Gray? There are some pics, like the ones taken in the shade look great. In brighter light, it looks like robin egg blue.. 9801C791-5AF9-4432-A953-C67815E9AEF4.webp
  18. I trade every 4 years. I’m on the allocation list to get my order in on the 27th. I’m sure by the time the new truck gets here, my 2020 will be 4 years old.
  19. LOL. It’s crazy. If you want a new truck in a year..or two.., you need to order it now.
  20. Gotta love how they piggy back options you don’t want… Adaptive steering is great, but honestly, you probably won’t miss it..especially for $3,700 bucks.
  21. IMO, stay far far away from Timbrens, especially on the rear.. Not necessary on a SD, and if you are having overload problems on a 1/2, you have the wrong truck. Yes, they will stop the sag on a 1/2 ton, but the price you pay is your suspension is now on solid rubber with almost no give. I tossed them out on my last 1/2 ton work truck in 2010. I’ll never buy another 1/2 ton again. Overloads are different on the 350, there is still plenty of give once they are engaged, and when they’re in use, there is plenty of weight to smooth things out. My current personal use truck is a 2020 Limited. I order the snow plow package for the more leveled look. Even though the front springs are suppose to be slightly stiffer, I find the ride pretty unbelievable for a heavy truck. When loaded for towing, is almost car like. I ordered the same set up for my 23’ . As far as 20’s, again, I’m not into the look of 18” runner on a bigger truck. I’ve had 20’s on my SD trucks since 2008. Sway bars stiffen side to side articulation like when you are hauling something top heavy. . Takes away sway, but does stiffen it up. Adaptive steering? LOVE it…
  22. I’ve always had heavy trucks. My 350 rides probably the best of any SD I’ve owned.
  23. My dealer will be ordering me a new 23’ Limited on the 27th. X plan, and price protected. Since no order guides are out, they’ll just be duplicating my 20’ Limited order. He said it could be up to a year. Possibly as soon as May, but most likely not.
