i have a family member who bargains at the plant level. i asked about other things i saw missing. he told me the 500+ pages are only changes. if it wasnt stricken out or modified it stays the same. hope this helps

they are putting us on obama care at some point during this contract. once your on you will have a deduction from your paycheck every week just like fica, fed tax , etc... how much will that be?? im sure its not cheap!!!

if were not getting it then why did they use two pages of the highlights package to show everyone the benefits they were gonna get from PPACA (aka obamacare)????

I think i read in the gm proposal they want to put everyone on obama care starting in 2014. i have 2 questions. 1) how much is this going to cost us each month? 2) if the cost reduction to the company is significant their profits are going to go thru the roof so why the cap on profit sharing

well when your the last plant to close your kinda screwed arent you. they've closed or are about to close almost every ford plant they want out of the picture with the exception of one. they're just letting us die slowly. so when all the dust settles theres nowhere for us to go.

the way i see it . we have already been slammed into pattern bargaining. they took away our gen even though were not taking money from the feds. mullally and all his vp's are still making their millions . gm and crysler now have built in guarantees with the loans they cannot take business out of the country. we on the other hand now have no guarantees. so with pattern bargaining already established. they have no choice but to offer us buyouts as well

we may have but why does a 10 year old coa override a brand new contract? the last time this happened was years ago when we absorbed the belleville plant. none of the people that happened to are even here anymore . the last of em left with the buyouts. the majority of the new ones this seems to apply to cant even do their job and just sit there all day

whats that got to do with anything? HELLO? the national contract states that ALL hydrollic repair are to become pipefitters. not all but the ones going to rawsonville. ALL of them!!! so hes going directly agsinst the national contract the we all voted in. so just incase you all forgot. we the membership have the power not you the few!!

well if everyone at international would stop letting joel make up his own rules as he goes maybe people would stop bitching so much. if someone down ther doesnt clean up this mess about pipefitters/machine repair you guys are gonna have a real problem on your hands. people are beyond pissed and having an international rep tell them theyre gonna do whatever joel wants is asking for alot of trouble
