  1. When ANY car's engine is off, there are effectively no foot brakes as the servo system relies on vacuum created by the engine to reduce the amount of pressure you have to apply to get the brakes to work. It doesn't matter whether you are in a stick or auto. Advice. Stick the car in PARK, then shut it off. Everytime.
  2. Its been three or four years but DHL was running some full sized transits in the Metro Boston area. I suspect it had the 2.4 liter Puma engine thats approved for use in the US.
  3. The Connect is sold in the UK with right hand drive. Ford could make a killing if they imported right hand drive versions for the US post office. These things are about the right size for a post van.
  4. This is Escape sized not Edge That said Bring it on (ditch the Escape)
  5. Kia just dropped the idea http://www.leftlanenews.com/kia-scraps-pic...ans-for-us.html
  6. The 500/Freestyle is a pretty darned good vehicle that drives very much like the XC70 Volvos without the turbo. Its an underrated vehicle by Ford/their dealers and the general public
  7. There are alot of Police Departments around the Country who are loathed to loose the CV. Its the one car they feel they can rely on.
  8. Nothing wrong with the existing engine used in the Fusion etc except to adapt to NS configuration. I'd like to know what diesels Ford will use in the F100 segment
  9. I saw several of the last gen transits on trial with DHL three years ago. Ford did get their 2.4 diesel approved for US use.
  10. Having driven several of the PSA/Ford diesels including the 3.6 V8, the 4.4 liter version should be a phenomenal performer. But its still two years away..ARGHHHH! Thats the part that I just don't get.
