  1. When you get the car, a better resource for info is fordfusionclub.com. Good luck w/ the car.
  2. Maybe wrong section to post in? I don't know, I own a ford and love this board by just bought my wife a 2010 GMC Terrain. I was going to check out the GM source sister site and it looks like it's empty and full of spam / viruses. Why is the site so dead?
  3. If you're interested in another antenna, here's what I have..
  4. When it rattles, can you feel it in the steering? Any clunking or loose sensation? Mine didn't rattle but I had a noise and a loose feeling. It was the rack and pinion and it took 4 dealers to find it.
  5. I think what's holding back is lack of availability with eco boost engines. They can only produce so many. They've also only released the 3.5L which, if put in a fusion, will make a less expensive car faster than a SHO or even V-6 mustang which would cut into those sales. IMHO ford will keep the 3.5L V-6 in the fusion and release a 2.0L ecoboost pushing approx. 240 HP max around 2012 or so. That makes the most sense.
  6. I doubt there is anywhere better than the US. Everyone has their own problems.
  7. I can't see ford making the FWD mistake again..they HAD to have learned from the impala by now. Either way, the ford and GM will both be Aussie vehicles and parts will still be impossible to get and it will still be a problem. If you can't even replace the differential on the police vehicles without spending thousands..the cars won't be practical.
  8. I had an 04 xterra and it was solid. Either way..all of the car companies are the same (with the exception of Chrysler, they are just horrible) but in the end..they all make some good cars and some bad cars. I may not like all of them but each and every company has it's own issues.
  9. I own a differential/drivetrain company. I get nothing but complaints on them. I can assure you, many of the companies who bought them, now regret it. This includes ambulance companies. And as for the NYC taxi debate..the hybrid escapes work out very well for the NYC taxis. And as per law they can only keep the taxis on the road for 2 yrs, so after that it doesn't matter to them if they hold up or not.
  10. Don't you have up until the last day of your regular warranty to buy the ESP? I've been waiting for that to run out before I even look at it.
  11. Thought that was an episode of top gear at first.
  12. Sounds like the Dodge Sprinter/UPS issue. UPS is already scrapping their sprinters while still have the old style UPS trucks in service from the 80's. The main issue here is the new caprice and ford interceptor MAY (or may not) be better quality than the charger but parts are still going to be impossible to get.
  13. Interesting..I haven't heard anything about it. Maybe they'll base it off the focus RS.
  14. Well I know there is nothing now that's why I said 2012. Which is perfect for me because I may be car shopping by then. Thanks for the reply!
  15. I've been reading reports of a ford fusion GT for 2012. 340 HP 3.5L Ecoboost. They say that the only reason it's not out now is because of a lack in supply of the engine. I'm just looking for supporting info for now but if it's even a possibility I'd like to hold off on a fusion sport and wait for the GT.
