  1. The Build and Price tool is up and running for the 16s. Go onto Lincoln's site, into the main screen of the 2016 MKX in the Future Vehicle tab, and scroll all the way down to the bottom to the build and price button. Hefty price increase with all the bells and whistles. All new territory for Lincoln!
  2. This just happened on my neighbors 2012 Fusion with 12,000 miles. Wife was on the highway, steering fault came up on message center and advancetrac off illuminated on dash. Lost power steering and she did panic for a brief moment losing control of the car before coming to an abrupt stop safely. Dealer replaced steering rack and all has been good so far (going on a month).
  3. Agree. They ruined the front of the Tahoe. The interior is its only saving grace. Also, unless you get the LTZ (shown here), the Tahoe looks rental grade and very boring outside. I know the Expedition shown is the top shelf trim as well, but I think it will look much better regardless of trim line. I just hope they market it and get the word out that they still DO sell them. I think they have a chance of picking up quite a bit of sales.
  4. LINCOLN sales were so good for the month because dealers were literally CLEARING out leftover 13's. Two of my neighbors got MKX's with $8,000 in rebates and the other leased his for $30 LESS/month (same exact lease terms) than I leased my Edge Sport with D-Plan for and his was $51K. Our dealer had 15 MKX's and sold them all in a week and a half once the rebates hit the newspaper.
  5. I actually went back and looked at the 2015 Escalade and you know what, I would take the refreshed Navigator over it any day. The short wheelbase Escalade looks absolutely hideous to me. The front is too much, the wheel design doesn't work, and the rear tail lights are way too big. The LWB ESV looks a little better because there is more surface separating everything going on with the front and the back, but overall I like the clean upright lines of the Navigator way more. The Escalade looks portly and bloated, the Nav just looks rectangular and bold, but conservative. It looks classier to me. My .02
  6. Rotate all the tires on our cars every 5,000 miles when they each go in for service….for $10 extra, it's cheap insurance to get a little more life out of the tires.
  7. They tweeted a front end shot today but I can't get it to attach on here for some reason. Looks promising though!
  8. Not surprised. These low-profile tires are garbage as far as i'm concerned. My dad's 17inch Michelins on his MKZ were gone at 25,000 (rotations every 5K when the vehicle was serviced), and my mom's 17s on her 2012 Impreza only made it to 18,000, granted they were 45 series tires (on the sportier side). I'm currently at 8,000 miles on my Edge Sport with 22s with no signs of wear. The service guy at my dealer said the Pirelli's that is has are top notch and that most Sport owners are getting at least 40,000 miles out of them. Works for me! At approx. $250 a tire I don't want to replace them anytime soon!
  9. http://wot.motortrend.com/1312_michelin_recall_includes_1_3_million_tires.html Good, my parents have had multiple issues with these tires on their 2010 Ford E-Series conversion van. Consistent air pressure issues and the sidewalls have now completely dry-rotted to the point that the tread is beginning to come apart from the sidewall. Our dealer said they have had multiple complaints. Good to hear they are taking care of the problem!
  10. Autoevolution eh? They sure do know their stuff!
  11. Ford really needs an all-new Expedition.....and Lincoln DESPERATELY needs a new Nav NOW.....not in 2017-2018. As a Ford fan, these two vehicles are Ford's weakest links by far. None of my Ford or Lincoln dealers near me carry them, and that's because no one wants them. If I was in the market for a BOF full-size SUV you bet i'd be looking at the GM triplets first. Although i'd never pay $80K for an Escalade Platinum, i've driven my friends and I get why so many people own them. They are wonderful machines to drive. Amazing power and sound, comfortable, and feature packed. It's a package that Ford/Lincoln can't touch with their current models. I'm sure the refresh next year will help but I don't think GM is concerned at all. I hope Ford has some MAJOR plans lined up for the all-new models.
  12. Hello, When you are at work next week could you please give me a status on my Edge. I only have the VIN # so I hope that is acceptable! 2FMDK4AK1DBC15390 Appreciate the help, Nick
  13. Hi all, my Edge is almost ready!! Is there a way for me to look up at what point it is at at the factory? I have the VIN but not the dealer code/order number so I didn't want to post in that section on here and get yelled at! The VIN is 2FMDK4AK1DBC15390 ......if anyone can help, i'd appreciate it!
  14. Tons of them here in NEPA .....even got them for undercover cars in blue and maroon and put hubcaps to cover the black steel wheels so it looks like every other Taurus, and they are working!

    Just ordered!

Hey all, Ordered an Edge Sport last night under D-Plan to replace my Escape. White platinum, AWD, Drivers Entry and Vision Packs. and Vista Roof. Dealer is saying two months. I cannot wait !!! The lease deals on the Edge are insane. My payment is going to be about $7 more/month than what i'm paying now under the same terms for a vehicle that (based on sticker for sticker) is $11K more than what my Escape was. Can't beat it!
  16. Okay thank you akirby. I tried the Build and price but you have to fill out your name and number and everything and then they will contact you so that doesn't help me any. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope February flies by.
  17. Hey all, I'm a month away from pulling the trigger on an Edge. I called my dealer and within seconds he can find what i'm looking for throughout the state. I'm looking for a Edge Sport Limited, white platinum, with all options but rear TVs. Is there a way I can easily find that specifically on my own without having to bug the dealer? I know through the dealer connection website you can search each dealership individually by state and city but it's super time consuming. Any help would be appreciated. I only ask because I HAVE to wait another month and I know the Sport model is very hard to come by, especially now that they are winding down production to make way for the 14 redesign! Thanks!
  18. My Escape has done this from time to time since new.....and i've noticed it on other cars as well (most notably Mercedes C-Class's) .....it's condensation burning off from behind the grill/hood.
  19. Hmm, i'll have to see how the voice commands work. I only use voice to make calls, otherwise I like being able to physically check/change things through the screen. I have the speed limit info on my portable nav which is really neat, and it will flash red if you go over past 10 mph . Thanks all for the info.
  20. Anyone with the Nav....does it allow you to change addresses, or sift through the gas price lists etc. while the car is in motion or is there a safety feature that prohibits using it while driving? I've used many systems (new and old) in cars and was always able to change settings and stuff while driving and a few months back I went with my uncle to the beach and drove his Hummer and there was nothing more aggravating then having a "that function can not be used while vehicle is in motion" message pop up every time I touched the radio controls!!!!! If that is the case with the Fusion, i'll save the $800 and stick with my portable nav ....I test drove one the other week and totally forgot to check !
  21. NICE! I do agree though, the wheels are much lighter than I thought too. They look like a gunmetal finish from Ford's build and price site, but in person they are silver just like any standard wheel finish. If I wasn't leasing one, i'd take them to get refinished in a darker color.
  22. It reminds me so much of the red and black scheme they had available on the 2002-2003 (maybe 04 too?) T-Bird ....always loved that look! I saw a new Focus with it but it didn't look anywhere as nice in person.
