No, you should compare the GM 6.2 to the Ford 6.2.
They both are only offered in limited configurations and will probably sell in similar numbers. The EB will be offered in a wider range of configurations.
Contrary to the "internet experts" GM doesn't sell gobs and gobs of 6.2 half tons. 90% of the 6.2's at the dealership I work at are in an SUV, Escalades and Yukon Denali's.
Face facts folks, the 5.3 is the predominent small block in GM's half tons. I'd like to see how the 5.0 fares against the 5.3, I'm guessing pretty well.
PS: if you thought the 5.3/3.42 combo sucked try 3.08 gears! That's how GM gets that 21 mpg highway on the sticker.
