  1. It's funny how idiots refuse to acknowledge the bias in reporting on the right by FAKING news stories to smear people that disagree with them. Of course every piece of corporate-owned news is slanted- that's what brings the networks their ratings. The Cronkite style of honest, opinion-free reporting died years ago. If they're reporting factual news, though, who gives a flying fuck? When Fox brings up an exclusive, it's with doctored video and absolute BS that their brain-warped audience just laps up because it's what they want to hear. Fox is tabloid journalism at it's worst, and false equivalency bullshit from the right doesn't erase that. Go ahead and live in your warped bubble of conservatard lies, though. It's chicken soup for the simple mind. Typical. There are any number of sources that you can find with teh Google that show a consistent pattern of lies and false reporting from Fox and the rest of the Murdoch/Saudi-owned media empire, but you'll just keep on denying it regardless. I don't waste my time debating with people who refuse to be reasonable.
  2. 17 city/23 hwy MPG from a full-size truck isn't good? Bullshit.
  3. It's a satirical newspaper- in print and now online- that's been around for over twenty years. Congratulations Trimding, you got trolled by the most well-known fake news site on the internet. Foxnews.com would be second.
  4. It's interesting when ideologies converge without the specter of empty talking points... So to be clear, you would gladly embrace Socialism? Believe it or not, the collective of thrifty, self-sufficient people that you're talking about is still a 'government', and this pooling of resources (under the control of said government) would be the definition of S _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . So to be clear, you would gladly embrace Sharia Law? 'Eye for an eye', through texts like the Code of Hammurabi, is rooted in ancient Islamic law.
  5. Where's the follow-up article about how his daughter's Cadillac SUV was carjacked, and GM's OnStar service basically saved her bacon? He was admittedly a few days from swapping her 'Government Motors' ride for a Toyota Sequoia. Maybe it's just me, but I like stories that include juicy irony.
  6. Make a trip to the Henry Ford, Greenfield Village, and the Rouge. It's so worth it.
  7. Well, they did try to charge a guy who was since elected Governor of Florida with the largest case of Medicare fraud in US history. He managed to outspend the prosecution and walked away scot-free.
  8. A corporation screwing over their customers and getting a free pass by blaming 'the gubmint' boogeyman? Wow, yeah. That's a new one.
  9. So... that's a no to realizing that she said something so stupid. Since when is an ineffective half-term political hack, who shrieks vitriol and invents nonsensical words for money, immune to the same kind of criticism that she dishes out? Your request is duly noted, and otherwise ignored.
  10. You realize that she actually did think North Korea is our ally, right? That wasn't a parody of Palin at all- just more of this ongoing stream of reminders for her pathetic ignorance.
  11. link link link link link link The officially debunked 'Climategate' or the bogus scandal 'Climategate'?
  12. Sounds like a good exclusive for NBC 4 News in Detroit. :shades: Shine a light on her actions, and see if her employer makes a fuss about not wanting to fire her. Chrysler and the UAW sure didn't put up a fight over wanting to keep the Jefferson North 15 without punishment.
  13. By that logic, all urban areas in the US would have the same level of segregation, not just the 'liberal' cities. A Democrat in the White House wouldn't have a selective effect on the country, just because you wanted it to be true to take a pot shot at Clinton. I'd like to see the answer to this, too. Just to show that you're being, you know, fair and balanced in making nasty statements about liberals. Otherwise, it just looks like desperate projection from conservatives who can't- or won't- admit to the underlying tones of hatred coming from their side of the aisle. That's getting pretty old after almost two years.
  14. That's the purpose for the GAO's existence- to be an internal affairs/inspector general of federally-funded programs. I'd be pissed if they didn't investigate other agencies; that's when they would be worthless.
  15. Just because some people are too ignorant to understand and respect the customs of a host country doesn't mean that the President has to act high-and-mighty with other heads of state. If he took the position of "I'm better than you" with the Japanese Emperor, people would probably accuse him of being arrogant. Bowing when being introduced to someone is a sign of respect in Japan, not a sign of subservience. The Japanese only consider it an act of submission if you bow while down on one knee, or "kowtow". What you saw was very simple: President Obama expressed to the Emperor (using a traditional Japanese custom) that he was pleased to be meeting him face-to-face. Any other interpretation of the bow is just plain old bias and propaganda.
