I know it'll probably never happen, but if they call it Continental, I really hope they build a four-door convertible again, with suicide doors. Those Continentals from the mid-60s are super classy.

We're loving the car so far, and it has really exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Definitely worth the wait. Hopefully it stops raining soon so we can enjoy it with the top down! Thanks again for all the help you provide here.

Volkswagen in particular has a very nice line of commercial vehicles that would probably do very well here, if only they could figure out how to make money on them. The Sprinter is now being sold rather successfully with a Mercedes-Benz badge on it, so there may be room for yet more Euro commercial vans of all sizes down the road.

So a Bronco has to get poor fuel economy and drive like crap on the highway to be a Bronco.

I also had a Mazda5 as a rental a few years ago, and it was surprisingly enjoyable to take on a road trip.

I don't think I'd ever want to own a car that wasn't a hatchback, at least for my main car. My VW Golf was capable of swallowing surprising amounts of cargo.

I'm surprised at how popular the Transit Connect has become in the US. I'm surprised other manufacturers aren't yet sending over their competitors.

Like they did with the Fiesta, I hope they keep the European styling intact and don't "Americanize" it too much. They've got a good thing going in Europe.

The first-gen Bronco is a favorite of mine. The Bronco II, on the other hand, was an abomination. Unfortunately, my family owned a very early early model that had so many problems it has kept them from even considering a new Ford to this day.

If Ford's going to can the Flex, they need to apply that boxy styling to a new Bronco that is similar in size and functionality to the original, but with 30 MPG and more highway-cruising comfort.

I ordered it. It's nice to have nav in the dash instead of hanging off the windshield with cords everywhere.
