Here's my new ride, picked up earlier this week. One pic in the rain the day after I picked it up with the 20" Chrome wheels, and a second pic after installing 18" wheels & winter tires and tint job! I love it!

Dealer called this morning ... after 10 long weeks it's finally here :happy feet: Going to pick it up tonight! Thanks for all your updates, very much appreciated.

Well looks like I got a bum deal ... mine was ordered Sept 14 and I'm STILL waiting for it And, I'm located only 5 hours from the plant! I really don't understand their rhyme or reasoning on how orders get fulfilled and how one gets priority over another. Disappointing experience seeing everyone place orders after me, and have their cars built and/or delivered before me. In fact, I actually gave my deposit on Aug 30th, but my dealer only submitted the order 2 weeks later ... we're now going into week 11, after they told me 6-7 weeks at time of ordering ... On the up side, it's supposed to be delivered this week ... Finally!

Good day! I got a call last night from my dealer saying that the car is scheduled to ship, And it will be received on Nov. 11th. I'm very excited! Can you please confirm if this info is correct, And perhaps see if there is an assigned rail car number for me? I've gotten bad data from my dealer before, don't want to be let down again. Thank you very much for the progress update on my VIN 2LMDJ8JK6BBJ09125 I was told that production actually finished last week and the vehicle was awaiting shipping then, which is weird. Anyways I sure hope it ships soon, it's already over 2 weeks late from what my dealer originally promised me and I'm over anxious to get the pick up call and start enjoying it! That's weird, I ordered my MKX on Sept. 14th, and the Sync software was installed on Oct. 26th ... Why would one order get produced before another? My dealer said the order was submitted with the highest priority ... obviously not! Lol.

Banning cell phones should only be banned to people who can't chew gum and walk, unfortunately, there's too many of them out there! Lol. If you're gonna ban cell phones, you need to ban any distraction while driving, particularly Eating & smoking. Reading & putting on make make-up ... that's a whole other class of ...

I saw one for the first time a few days ago, did not like it at all. My wife was always a big fan of the Odessey, she was in the car with me when we saw it ... I pointed it out to her and she said, "omg what did they do to it, yuck!" Not sure about the new Honda's lately, obviously a lot of new fresh eyes working on designs ... not for everyone.

I ordered an '11 MKX, so obviously disappointed that it didn't make it past the first round, but the Edge did seemingly well, so I'm not all upset.

I used IE for years, and only recently switched to Firefox & Chrome, love them both, will never switch back to IE. I do find Chrome a bit faster.

I was told the same thing, once a week on Thursdays. With everything available online these days, dealers have to rely on a weekly printout? What a joke. Not sure whether to believe my dealer or not. I see many people got their VIN in 2-3 weeks after ordering, I've been waiting 6 weeks, still nothing, and my salesman says he has no where to check. Very odd.

So the dates shown on the SYNC history page of Confirmed Install, is the date the vehicle was built, or the date Sync was loaded into the vehicle? How long after this until it leaves the plant for transport?

None of the Lincoln MKX window stickers seem to have any build dates, they are always blank on top where you suggest. I have been looking for a couple of months, and never seen it!

The date on your window sticker says Oct. 12. I have seen many window stickers online at various Lincoln dealerships with the same Oct .12 date, and all these vehicles are already in stock at the dealerships, in many different states, so to me it would appear that your mkx should have already been built and shipped to your dealer? What does this date on the sticker refer to?
