  1. I will watch tonight. I hope we get some good hybrid and electric news. Both RAM (TRX) and Lordstown made truck announcements today.
  2. Ok....now I think I am connecting the dots. With the panned CD6 mustang....there went the hybrid.
  3. Yeah, I heard that too. I don't remember where I got that from though.
  4. You really like to beat that dead horse, don’t you? If you want a V8 in your Bronco, then mod away. I bet if you did, TFL might do a story on you. Otherwise, get a Landcruiser and be done with it. Stop with this nonsense, and it is total nonsense. Ford isn’t Burger King, and isn’t going to make it your way!
  5. Yes. However, I have a special needs 5 year old that already can have a tough time getting into my Fusion. No need to make his life anymore difficult by making him contort to get in. Actually, if he didn't have special needs I would get the four door to make it easier anyway. I think the take rate on the two door will be low (10% or less) but totally understand why it's necessary.
  6. I think the 2 door looks the best from what I've seen so far. No way in hell I'd get one having a child, but if didn't have a son it would be the one I'd get. There will be too many good products to choose from when i decide it's time for the Fusion to be replaced. I'd like the idea of one with a manual and V6 mid level optioned. No Baja grade tires but still off road capable. I wonder if I could get something like that for around 35-40? Time will tell.
  7. Is this true? Suddenly I'm tired and could use a nap. Sleeper seat
  8. Here is the thing. You sneak, spy, and post things that the manufacture wants to hide you automatically run the risk of this happening. It's the business.
  9. I think you missed the point on that statement. I was merely trying to say Fords future relies way more on ICE than any electric car/truck in the near future.
  10. I am pretty sure Ford's future will be in jeopardy if the ICE/HYBRID/PHEV products they are introducing in the next few years are not well received. The electric F150 will be great to show they can produce a capable (hopefully) electric pickup. An electric pickup with demand/volume limitations will not be the decider of it's future anytime soon.
  11. Taking a page out of The Book of Elon. Can Ford just release their electric truck soon to stop hearing from the Vaporware companies looking for cash?
  12. You're right....If the GT500 didn't get delayed would the GT350 been given a slight refresh (engine block, suspension and aero tweaks) and produced in 2019 and 2020? I heard that if the GT500 had been on schedule, that wouldn't of happened. That was the only point i was trying to make.
  13. We can agree to disagree but that's not correct at all. How it was explained to me by multiple people is the GT350 was a late 2015 add (very few were produced). Initial production run was supposed to be to 3-4 model years for GT350. The GT500 should of been out at minimum a year earlier than it was. Do you think they planned on doing a slight refresh for the GT350? That is what they did to keep it relevant. Both versions now run on different blocks as the original 2015-2018. We can thank the GT500 for that. Once they planned the refresh for 2019, it was planned to do a slight overlap with GT500. The Mach 1 will now occupy that space in 2021.
  14. I'm fairly certain that last sentence is incorrect.
  15. Well yes, there could be. A few different factors here. If you aren't going to take it to the track, then no. Essentially, this is touted as the GT350 replacement (without saying it). Those cars can be tracked hard. The Mustang isn't light and coolers aren't either, so theoretically yes, more horsepower will be better to offset said weight. It really depends on the tuning, if you are higher along the curve then yes. Another factor, is 500 gives it an unique engine/tune that hasn't been used before. As it stands with the little details we have, the Mach engine is not unique as it has been in the Bullitt before.
  16. I stand corrected. How'd i miss that? That makes for a much more pleasant driving experience. I've always hated fighting the regular GT trans in my limited go fast experience with the GT.
  17. Well basically sound like PP2 with coolers and Bullitt engine. Was hoping for another 20hp and the tremec from the GT350. Kinda weak in my opinion vs what they could have done and still have had a nice gap between GT500.
  18. I know... I know. My comment is more directed that these even in SV guise, they were rental spec. Had one as a rental (last resort) and by god it was awful. Neighbor has one, and he'll freely admit he bought it used based on price and cargo capacity only. My anecdotal story, is I only see them with steelies and I see these everywhere. AWD being the only discernible option. It will be interesting to see how this new model sells, as the face looks better, in my opinion. Old face look like a first gen Murano at least to me.
  19. I don't know why the show the top of the line model. We all know that 90% of what Nissan will sell of these will base rental model spec.
  20. Reading this post made me think. When Ford introduced the original 5.4 Raptor, who thought it would sell at the price and take rate that it does? Even better, who thought it would sell through soon to be 3 body styles and create a Ranger and most likely Bronco Raptors ? Out of all the customers Ford has, they are most in tune with their truck customers. I’m not going to doubt how they package them or build them as I know they’ve done their research and studied it thoroughly. I’ll complain on the marketing a little for the slow rollout but will give them a bit of a free pass with Covid and racial tensions that have been on the forefront of what’s been going on.
  21. Uber built its IPO on the premise that self driving cars were inevitable in a couple years. That and screwing their drivers.
  22. Where did you hear that? Interesting as I thought all of these "leaks" were intentional at this point.
  23. Screen doesn't take up full center stack like Tesla or Dodge.....FAIL! (sarcasm).....you know someone will say it
