  1. Because forums tend to have rules, that's all, and I'm curious which dealer it is that's allegedly in trouble with corporate for over-charging Plan customers.
  2. Weird…. I can’t imagine the base instrument cluster has it but not the fancy all digital one. If I had mine, I could be of more assistance, maybe someone else will be able to chime in. To state the obvious, you definitely do have AWD, listed on the window sticker? Working in IT, you have to eliminate the obvious.
  3. That I'm not sure on as I haven't seen the full digital instrument cluster like you have in your Titanium trim. I have an Escape on order with that feature but it's not built yet. ? Not sure how the menu is laid out on that system. Are you able to find the tire pressure and oil life status? Should be in the same place as those. On the standard instrument clusters (analog speedometer dial etc), you would scroll up/down through the screens e.g. Trip with your odometer data, audio settings, things like that, and there'd be an option labeled Information with a graphic of an Escape in the middle of the screen. You'd then use the menu button on the steering wheel (3 horizontal lines) and scroll down to Intelligent AWD. This video shows how to get to it, it might be similar for you but it might be different:
  4. Yep, 4th gen (2020+) Escape works much like you describe with your Edge in terms of AWD. There's a slide on the instrument cluster display that shows the status of the Intelligent AWD system. It shows the layout of the car and each wheel getting power has a bar that fills in. Normal (or Eco, for that matter) drive mode will engage AWD as needed to maintain traction to all 4 wheels. During steady state cruising, it'll stick to FWD. During acceleration, particularly with low traction, it will power all 4 wheels, etc.
  5. The dealer I ordered from just got and quickly sold an SEL Hybrid, as well as two SE Hybrids, and had a third SE Hybrid built last week, so they are out there. All dealer stock with order dates back to October.
  6. Did I post this? 2022 Escape SEL FHEV AWD ordered Jan 3, dealer estimated around 3-4 months with the understanding that nobody knows in the current market. Still awaiting scheduling/VIN. Between Maverick and Escape hybrids that use the same ICE, battery pack, etc, (but different transmissions,) they can't build nearly enough. Hopefully you get yours sooner than 8 months!
  7. Price Protection is between the dealer and Ford, not the end consumer. It means that the dealer pays the invoice price quoted at time of order. So if the dealer is matched back to the original pricing, one would reasonably conclude that Plan pricing would be based on that price level, not any new level that comes along before the vehicle is invoiced.
  8. I mean, or just ask your salesperson to check VV for you.
  9. That's because Vehicle Visibility is an internal tool accessible only to Ford employees and dealers.
  10. Per AZ-Plan rules: Per X-Plan rules: Sources AZ: https://www.myplan.ford.com/myplanweb/jsp/howitworks/myplan_az_rules.htm X: https://www.fordpartner.com/partnerweb/jsp/howitworks/fordpartner_rules.htm
  11. As someone who unfortunately needed the steering wheel airbag in December, this is the stupid part of the whole thing. Put the damn thing back together with a fully functional steering wheel and airbag before you hit the road to test your gauge cluster. Cool mind, idiotically executed. And then to go and take a picture while driving at speed is trying to test the lack of airbag. Ugh. Looking forward to my Escape on order which will have the 12.3" digital instrument cluster, though.
  12. Most important thing is to get it in writing that the dealer will accept X-Plan when the ordered vehicle comes in. Not all dealers are willing to accept it given current market conditions.
  13. Yep... Two examples: Currently $3,000 off MSRP which is below invoice on Mavericks, previously 3-4% under invoice: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/3-000-off-msrp-ends-january-24th-at-midnight-2022-fight-off-the-price-increase-with-granger-ford.7000/page-35 https://www.chapmanfordhorsham.com
