COTUS was pretty up to date with everything on mine. It went from awaiting shipment to in transit in about 6 days after it was produced and about 2 weeks later showed up on the West Coast at my dealership.
There's no build date but it's ETA is 9/16 so you're probably looking at a production date for August. Once you get window sticker it will show up at the bottom near the options you have and you'll be able to see the build date on there.
You can definitely get it built but it may take longer than if you were to get one without. You might get lucky and even get it sooner but you can still order it as a '19.
GT Premium Orange Fury, Black Accent, Active Exhaust, smart/safe, A10.
Other than getting a VIN I got nothing else from my salesman so it may still be processing. COTUS still lists it as not having a vehicle in the system.
Just got my VIN for my 2019 GT. Moving along nicely. Placed order on 5/6.
1Fa6p8cf2k5109141 - COTUS still doesnt say anything about it but hopefully it will pop up soon or someone wants to chime in to check it
I was actually in Michigan over the weekend for family and drove by just to see how the lots looked and they were pretty full. There's definitely a rail car/transportation shortage that they hopefully clear up by then.
I ordered a 2019 GT and was told end of July-September. I’m not holding my breath though since I ordered a 2011 when the 5.0 was first released and it took half a year. Hated every second of it but it was worth it. If you can find a 2018 with the same options and a dealership willing to try and get it from another dealership I’d be willing to let them for the incentives currently available.
Still has it but hopefully they’ve fixed the issues with it since 2012. I’ve had the transmission and clutch replaced 4 times in my 2012. It’s been about 8 months since the last one and no issues so far.
