The several cases you've seen must be an anomaly. I've read, seen, and work around many Mavericks in and around work. I've seen CV boot and axle issues on various vehicles and the Maverick isn't one of them. Part numbers NZ6Z3B436B and NZ6Z3B436C have been used on all three years of production. If a certain percentage of failures occur Ford must be taking note and informing the same supplier that distributes the same parts for Hyundai since the CV boot clamps have a Hyundai logo. Since the boots are separate from half shafts and both have weather or lubrication wear and tear factors I'm interested to know why your area is affected more than (midwest US) mine.

A 24' Edge SEL is $39,665. A 25' Explorer Active is $39,625. A 24' Edge Titanium is $43,820. A 25' Explorer with the Active Comfort package is $42,705.

I watched a video about the comparison of a 25' Active and a 24' Edge SEL. Adding the Active Comfort Package make it a close match to a Titanium. I like how Ford has bridged the gap and offered customers a very close alternative to a "25' Edge".

That's why Ford has a quality assurance department. They identify bad batches of parts, machine that require calibration and identify design flaws plus 99 other things. Finger pointing is part of Ford's past according to it's newest director of quality. I've been in enough work environments to realize employee input rarely fixes systemic issues because management would have to admit they were wrong. When middle managers are well paid, expectations are higher.

I watched a YouTube video on the options for the Rallye package and GT trim (separate vehicles). The order guide only covers the select and premium trims. The Ford build and price has nothing on their site in spite of the 11/02/2023 order guide publishing date.

Good thing all dealers are different. Long McArthur didn't not take new 24 orders in the beginning of the MY.Now that they're confident all 23 and 24 will be built they are taking new 24 orders and thinking about placing stock orders.

Anyone have an idea which trims will have the Pro Access tailgate as an option? The Bed Utility package (68L) doesn't nor spell out whether it includes the Pro Access version.
