  1. Cyberdman, Picked up the new truck on Friday 10-16! Can't believe how well an F-350 rides these days. Probably won't get to tow much with it 'till next season, but no question that it will tow with authority. Thanks for your help in keeping tabs on the production process. Much appreciated. Dan
  2. Great! Hopefully they stick to schedule and I'll soon have a truck and a picture to share with you. Thanks, Cyberdman.
  3. Any update on 1FT8W3BT9LEE58413? Thankyou!
  4. If I recall, press "OK" on right keypad when the trip odometer is displayed and it will pause the display. Press "OK" again to resume.
  5. Fixed. I've been touching the top surface of the handle. To unlock, need to touch the inside surface. Don't know how I got away without noticing that for 7 months! RTFM! Also got around to programming all doors unlock on first press.
  6. Would appreciate any tracking info you can provide for: 1FT8W3BT9LEE58413 Order ID: 9874 2020 F350SD 6.7 CC/LB Lariat Ultimate FX4 Rapid Red w/Magnetic Accent Thanks for your efforts and helping us all tolerate the wait!
  7. I'm happy with the LED headlights on the 2020 Explorer ST. Better than what I've experienced in other vehicles.
  8. Rented a 2019 F350 PSD CCLB for a camping trip recently. Had to adjust my drawbar down to the lowest setting to compensate for the taller 2019 vs. my 2011 F250. It towed the ~12k travel trailer with authority - as expected. Seemed to be a better ride and more resistant to tail wagging than the older truck. Really looking forward to arrival of the ordered 2020 F350 PSD CCLB!
  9. I've added this to the list of things to check on delivery. October?
  10. Thanks for the video link. Still trying to find out which brand soft cover comes from the factory.
  11. Yea, I'm 5'10" and it was a leap without the running boards on the rental 2019. For my 5'4" wife it was a climb.
  12. Got our 2020 Explorer ST in October 2019 so about 7 months now. Had to have the hood and right side doors aligned to even up the gaps, but the dealer did a good job of it. Also, the HVAC vent to the right of the steering wheel was broke on delivery - got that fixed promptly as well. Shouldn't of had to deal with things like that on a new vehicle but once those items were corrected I'm pleased with the vehicle and we haven't had and problems with it that were Ford's fault. Lost a windshield to a flying rock but can hardly blame them for that! I will say that I was disappointed that my Galaxy Note 9 cell phone - a very common model - is too big to fit in the wireless charging slot so that's a real fail on their part. All in all, love the vehicle, love driving it. Really like the adaptive cruise feature and the spirited driving. They also nailed the functionality of the fob with the door & hatch locking/unlocking, etc. It's easy to forget that you are unlocking the doors when you grab the handle. Takes me back to the days when we just left the keys in the ignition.
  13. 2020 Explorer ST Our Explorer has the factory side rails, but I need to get a set of the cross bars to go with them. Primary use will be for a canoe so full width is needed. I've used Thule($$$) and various OEM bars on past vehicles. Just wondering if anyone has any comments about the current models. Cheers!
  14. I believe that the pegs are the lawyers' response to a problem with some (Honda's maybe?) having floor mats slip forward and jam the go pedal down several years back.
  15. Thanks, I was hoping to avoid probably 2 round trips to the dealer if it was some 'magic sequence' on the fob to correct it. Cheers!
  16. My brother-in-law did a gooseneck conversion on his 5th wheel camper since he already tows various gooseneck farm trailers. The more I read up on it the more I liked it. I've got a 2020 F350 PSD on order to replace my treed 2011 F250 PSD and plan on upgrading from a travel trailer to a 5th wheel camper once the truck arrives. Also plan on converting the camper to gooseneck, probably with the Reese goose box. I can't find any real drawbacks from those using them and getting the bed of the truck back is a major benefit.
  17. Had a 2011 F250 CCLB and other than occasionally having a longer walk from a parking spot, never regretted it. Also looking to upgrade from a travel trailer to a 5th wheel camper and the long bed should work better. On order: 2020 F350 PSD CCLB.
  18. Also interested in what brand of soft folding tonneau cover comes from the factory? Had a Truxedo on my Ranger some years back and was pleased with that. Hope the new one on an F350 will be similar.
  19. Had to rent a 2019 F350 for a recent camping trip while waiting for my 2020 order. Coming out of a 2011 F250 the 2019 seemed much taller - I don't have any measurements to go by. Glad to hear that the 2020 is moving back a bit closer to earth. It didn't help that the rental didn't have running boards - that was quite a climb.
  20. Had a 2011 F250 PSD CCLB until last year when a tree jumped out and hit it. (2020 F350 PSD on order) Never experienced the problem described but it does not sound like fun.
  21. 2020 Explorer ST I was really loving the way the fob works on these vehicles, just seemed so natural and 'It works the way I would expect it to.' Now all of the sudden one of the fobs won't activate the 'touch to unlock' door feature. The fob is detected because various things in the vehicle click when I touch the door handle, but it does not unlock - in fact, it almost looks like it locks again. Everything else works as expected - 'touch to lock' works. Fob #2 works correctly, including 'touch to unlock'. Any suggestions?
