It was an option. That chart doesn't show the LED headlights either. They either came with the LED headlights or the ultimate package. Either way all my lights are LED and I have both those options and the trailering package. I have flashing modules controlling all the lights since they are all LED.

I would never waste time with a dealer for a TPMS sensor. Any tire shop could do it the same day for a lot less.

6.7 Fuel pump questions and interesting advice received
ScottK1 replied to road turtle's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
If it were that common, there would be class-action lawsuits about it. I think the best solution is adding a filter after the pump to protect the fuel system if it fails. I'm still under warranty, so haven't worried about it yet. -
It should be there. Check behind the one in the bumper to see easily in that location. Worst case you can power it from there.

2024 or wait for the 2025 F-250 SD Lariat
ScottK1 replied to Raised on Blue Oval's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
There hasn't been a deal on Super Duties since the pandemic, and there still is a shortage of many configurations. I wouldn't wait based on wishing for deals, but simply if new features are coming that you really want. I always order exactly what I want, and negotiate a deal (or use x-plan for Ford) up front. Financing should get cheaper the longer you wait, as interest rates will start being cut in September, by the Fed. -
On the 22's, there is no difference between the 250 Tremor and the 350 Tremor, other than that F-badge and the weight rating sticker. In some states, apparently the 350 is more expensive to register, but that's not the case in WA. I wanted the max capacity sticker, so I got the 350 Tremor. If you are not talking about the 350 Tremor, then the 350 has higher payload capacity than the 250 Tremor, and an number of other suspension and wheel differences, as well as engine and axle ratio options.

How is the automatic sway control set, in the truck trailer settings? Try switching it off, if it is on, or vice-versa.
-
You can replace the fuel tank. I believe the gas replacement is 58 gallons, aftermarket. I love my tremor, but I have the diesel which gets excellent fuel economy, even towing my 32 ft travel trailer. There's a diesel 60 gallon upgrade available for it from S&B, but I haven't really needed it. If I ever decide to drive to Alaska, then I will get it.

That's not right. Get a code reader and see what it says.

Need advise on tire chains for 2024 f250
ScottK1 replied to missingthecabin's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
They don't negate any need when you are towing.... -
On 2022 Super Duty, Ford advertised it having that feature. It's in the printed materials. Then they renigged on it, claiming some issue with the Sync 4 hardware that year. Not really a believable explanation, but it is what it is. Supposedly 2023 has it. I would use it. I like the paid connected navigation anyway. We check the route in advance with RV Life trailer routing to make sure. It has bugs too though, not able to route some places where it is simply wrong. But, you need to know your height and pay attention. Some people who have trouble remembering their height stick a note on their dash so they can remember when signs appear.

Which codes? Probably has nothing to do with towing, other than coincidence. Assuming you are under warranty, you know where to go.

Even if you did find it on the receiver (mine has it), it's not those numbers that matter. Ford has a Super Duty towing guide that explains in great gory detail...

Need advise on tire chains for 2024 f250
ScottK1 replied to missingthecabin's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
I have 2 sets of these: Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link I got them at etrailer.com Are you 4-wheel drive? If so, put them on all 4. If you're towing a trailer, you also need one set on the trailer. Rear axle if it's a dual axle trailer, in order to limit sway as much as possible. In WA, you are required to have one set on the tow vehicle AND carry a second set, so might as well have all 4 on if you are 4 wheel drive. I don't know about CO's laws. You said the trailer is light, but is it so light that it doesn't have brakes? That would be a risky situation with poor traction. Anyway, WA also requires a set on the trailer. I use this style for my travel trailer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0091RCIR6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 -

When the truck tells you to do it.

Brake Light Camera Banner on Screen
ScottK1 replied to Diesel Dude's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
Do you have a trailer profile setup for that trailer and are you using it? -
And also, why not use the parking/emergency brake? You have no brakes when only in park.
-
Take it to a brake shop with free checks.
-
Well, that's what I would expect, and why people install DC to DC chargers, instead. You probably have about 370 Amps on your alternators, which is irrelevant, in this case.

Trailer Backup Camera Not Default Reverse View
ScottK1 replied to Blackdiamond925's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
I don't think so, but I will check when I am back in town. I typically turn it on and off during long drives, so I can see my maps and music controls instead. It really is just one button to toggle it on/off when you're going to pass or you want to see what's going on behind you though. I mounted the TPMS transmitter to the back of the front cross-beam on the frame of my trailer. It works well there. This set of wire covers made it super easy to nicely hide wires going up the back side and across to the center of the trailer for the camera: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KFQRH33/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -
Trailer Backup Camera Not Default Reverse View
ScottK1 replied to Blackdiamond925's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
I installed that system myself, and I love it. I give it 5 stars for the quality of the camera compared to Furrion Vison S cameras that most trailers are wired for. The truck remembers the last camera you were using. Just hit the top (right, I think) button, and it comes back up. Quite easy to get used to. I highly recommend it. I also love keeping that camera on while towing as it really helps you know when you have completely passed another vehicle. I have the 360 system and 5th wheel prep. I can't imagine why the dealer would charge $450. The truck part of the job took about 10 minutes to swap out the connector on the back. The trailer was the hard part. -
There's no comparison between any F150 and a Super Duty for towing. Get the SD Tremor if you want some off-road capability, and lower the tire pressure when not towing.

I wonder if it is partly your carrier or phone. I have not had that problem with Verizon in my F350. If you know someone with another carrier or phone, try theirs. I only use bluetooth with an andriod phone (Galaxy S20+ currently). Works perfectly.
