Thank you! I should be able to follow its journey now—hopefully my next post is to share a picture.

My dealer said to me today that Ford doesn't like them giving out the rail car numbers as too many people call the rail carrier. I personally don't see the excessive drain on an automated tracking number, but maybe some have trasferred to a live person and caused an issue....or maybe the dealer just liked saying Ford didn't want them to--who knows.

Getting that change in riiiiiight before the price increase—well played! -
Was this with any of the tricky commodities? That's great news if 01 with say, AS, was only a 3 wk additional delay.

I’m with you—hoping someone here may have some insight that could help us understand the delay or what might break us free. -

Allocations could factor in if they have no remaining allocation. I would ask them how many unscheduled orders they have and what their remaining allocation is. -

And what has your dealer said about their allocation status? -

My last PCO went unused because it was sent to my PO Box and not my physical address. The dealer claimed there was no way to apply it if the PCO address didn't match the address given on the order. I have a hard time believing this is true, but I'm somewhat at his mercy. I do wish that instead of asking the region rep if there was a way to change teh address on the PCO, he had simply asked--"I have a customer who rec'd a PCO via his PO Box, is ther a way to apply that to the order." <angry face> -
I actually had some interest in the lightning, but as some have mentioned, came to the conclusion that it is better suited for short trips. I plotted out the optimal range with the existing Tesla charging infrastructure and came up w/ some holes on a recent road trip route. Also, I don't believe Tesla is sharing access to is charging infrastructure (yet--surely a $$ could be made.). I still like the idea, just not a fit for me right now.

Cool useful aftermarket accessories for your SD's?
Steve N replied to IUEC135ELEVATOR's topic in F-Series SuperDuty Forum
I've read that some have ordered the light from earlier models. There's also this product. https://www.f150leds.com/collections/2015-18-f150-leds/products/15-18_engine_bay_led?variant=34230792644 -
For the front plate, was there a Ford part that worked, or were you left on your own to find an aftermarket? Thanks!

There still doesn’t seem to be a first in first out build on AS. I’m not as old as March (July), but have seen more than a couple of newer orders being built with AS.

The dealer doubled down on their “no” with the following ”we run a smart Vincent for the day it was ordered and the day its delivered…we can then lock in the smart Vincent for whichever date…if you received a PCO after the date it was ordered and its going to expire by delivery, it wont be on either of those 2 previous dates…that is the only way it works.” -

I had read mine and it reads the same--doesn't answer what (if anything) to do about a PCO "in the middle." Your dealer seems to be cooperative, where mine is saying since I missed applying it at order, I can only apply whatever is valid at delivery. -

Looking to crowd source a bit and hear of your experiences. I received a PCO in the mail after ordering that will expire before my truck is built. Dealer is saying nothing to be done aside from asking Ford for an exception at time of delivery. I'd rather not wait to be told I should've done something now. Anyone able to speak from experience? Thanks! -
Ford Vehicle Ordering & Scheduling Process
Steve N replied to ice-capades's topic in Ford Motor Company Discussion Forum
This seems (to me) the best topic to ask this question in--forgive me if I'm in the wrong thread. I'm trying to order a '22 F350 7.3. The dealer has told me they are still participating in x plan and has configured a build and sent me the order preview screen. My issue is that, unlike others I have seen, the preview screen he sent does not show the plan pricing at the bottom, only MSRP. When I asked the sales rep, he says that he can't display the x plan price until he gets an invoice? Is this normal? I'm extremely hesitant to put down a deposit without having a document showing the plan sales price. I've seen others post their build previews from WBDO with each of the A/Z/X/D plan prices listed at the bottom. Thank you!
